This relationship was so stupid from the beginning. He was a older man & a janitor at a college she went to. Out of all the men to pick, she had to pick him LOL. That tells u how her taste was in men. I was watching The Cosby Show last night & the episode was about Elvin & Sondra were supposed to have a house warming at their new house & they couldn't have a house warming over their house cause the furnace was broke. Bill Cosby was like how can u call yourself having a house warming & u gonna have it over somebody else's house hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Anyway Vanessa & Dabnis were gonna tell Bill & Clair that they were gonna get married cause that's what Bill's father told Bill & Clair. So Vanessa & Dabnis instead told them that they were getting separated. I like the part when Bill & Dabnis are in the basement talkin & Bill tells Dabnis to tell him what really happened between him & Vanessa. Dabnis finally comes out & tells him that Vanessa is annoying. Dabnis was a good handyman though. He told Elvin at the end of the episode what he needed to do to fix the furnace. Elvin tried to go with Bill & Dabnis to Elvin's house & Bill was like no, u stay here, u don't know how to fix nothing LOL.

His name is Dabnis, not Dabins LOL. Anyway remember when Vanessa used to like Robert? I think that was his name. His real name is Dondre Whitfield i think. He used to play on the soap opera All My Children in the early 90's & he played on the short lived sitcom Between Brothers with Kadeem Hardison & Tommy Davidson. He's married to black actress Salli Richardson in real life.

Yeah the episode when Dabnis meets Grandpa Huxtabe for the first time. Russell thought Dabnis was 45. But Dabnis told him that he has a 45 year old brother.

I just thought that all of the Huxtable children (even Rudy at times) were very indecisive on what they wanted to do. They weren't very consistent in focusing on a goal and then sticking to it.........the exception would be Theo (from seasons 7 and 8 -- or maybe just 8, I'm not sure).

I would only say Denise or Sondra were like that.

You brought up a very good point, because now that I think about, Rudy was still a child and had lots of time to think about what she wanted to do and Vanessa also never had the problem of being indecisive. Theo, I thought, showed some indecisiveness at the beginning, but he came around.

But you're right, Denise and Sondra were definitely indecisive.

Exactly. What automatically came to mind was Denise. Then Sondra with her Wlderness job, Lawyer, and Waitress. Theo at the beginning, like the episode when he wants to fly Cliff mentions that he went through a bunch of other stuff to. But he did come around.

I think they were all indecisive at some point in their life. Some more than others. Theo was indecisive earlier in his life, denise was indecisive later in her life, and so was sondra, rudy would seems like she would be indecisive later in her life. maybe it has something to do with male's and female's.
