hey everyone...i was reading an old AOL online chat with George Clooney, and the host asked him if he'd be in a reunion movie, and he said no, because he was fired the first time. i was wondering, does anyone know why he was fired?

I believe it was because, from what John Bowab said on the True Hollywood Story, was that he could never fit into the 'core' group. Something along those lines...

I love George Clooney and all, but I really hope that he doesn't make it to the reunion. He didn't fit well with the show when he was originally on. Only true FOL fans or George Clooney fans even remember him being on the show. To invite him back for the reunion now just because he's become so popular isn't exactly fair, and wouldn't fit into the story very well.

On the other hand, I always had secretly hoped for a George/Jo hookup. If they got both Nancy and George to do the reunion and made this happen, I'd be all for it.

By the way, I found another chat transcript from George from a while back and he (jokingly) said that he'd only do the reunion if he got to play Tootie.

I agree, a George and Jo hookup woulda been awesome! I was alos hopin for that. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif But yea I also agree that he didn't really fit into the show, as well as Andy, I mean I thought he was funny, but he just didn't really fit in.
