I Love the 70s is coming on VH1 August 18....which is sooo cool. I am glad they decided to make a 70s one. I liked I love the 80s so this should be cool to :D

OMG, 1990 was one of my fave years! How could it not be, I went to Walt Disney World in January 1990 (see, I still remember the month we went :D), and I started kindergarten that fall. Yep. 1991 was a great year, wasn't it? If you look at it harder and try flipping the numbers around to get a different year, you can't because it's the same forward and backwards. Same with 2002. :lol: Man, I really miss kindergarten...It's hard to believe I was there 12 to 13 years ago. That and the fact I started school 16 years ago...:eek: :lol:

I was born in 1975 and one of my earliest memories is dancing to the soundtrack album from Grease when I was two years old:D and having toys, like action figures from Star Wars, including an album of the movie;) I love 70's onVh-1 it is great and kinda of brings back memories..Oh I even had a Marie Osmond Doll:lol:

I was born in '74, and some of the stuff they've shown have brought back memories, like those weebles and Lite Brite, the Connect Four game, and they just showed a Meow Mix commercial too, which I clearly remember seeing a few years later. My friends and I used to play Operation and then there was that Doctor's Kit! Not to mention my little Easy Bake Oven. :lol: I still have my Donny and Marie dolls around here somewhere, too.

The early 90s would be nice to look back on. I'd forgotten some of the stuff they've shown so far (toys, commercials), so I really can't wait for Thursday and Friday when they get into the late 70s.

I was born in 1987 and I REMEMBER 1987!....Well Ok, Only important moments but I remember tons of stuff from 88 and 89 yet I don't remember what I ate for breakfast yestersay :p

I was born in late 79, but I remember Lite Brites and Connect Four! And Operation always scared the hell out of me when it buzzed. I hated it. AND EASY BAKE OVEN!!!! I had mine. Made the worst chocolate cake in it. :lol:

:lol: That damn buzzer scared me, too.. always made me jump! I loved my Easy Bake Oven, but those chocolate cakes never came out right. They were more like brownies that looked like bricks or something.

I just finished watching '78 and '79 - that was the best! I was only 5 by the time the 70s were over and done with, but it was like a little trip down memory lane: Seeing Joe Green in the Coca-Cola commercial, Underalls, wearing my underoos, The Rainbow Connection, Captain Caveman, having to watch The Incredible Hulk (thank God those celebs didn't pick on it), CHiPs and BJ and the Bear, The Muppets Show, my Simon and Speak and Spell games. They mentioned the Steelers winning the 1979 Super Bowl, which reminded me of my uncle because that was his favorite team.

I would have liked to have been around in the 70's because I would have laughed through the whole decade! Imo, people were screwed up back then, but in a good way. I don't know it seemed funny to me. People were happier or something and all those funky clothes and stuff. I would have had fun in the 70's. When they were talking about Close Encounters of the Third Kind and that space ship started playing Abba's Dancing Queen I got really tickled! Then, there was the "I'd like to be an Oscar Meyer weiner song"...tee,hee Sigh, I should have been born earlier.

I watched I Love The 70's a couple of times on VH1. I see they showed Earth Wind & Fire & the outfits they used to wear. They also showed Studio 54 club in New York in 77. They showed Michael Jackson at that club dancing with a big afro LOL. People were saying that a lot of stuff used to go on at Studio 54 such as people doing drugs, people having sex in the bathrooms & there would be stuff going on in the basement of the club. Does anybody on here know anybody who went to Studio 54 club back in the day? I would like to know more information about that club cause from what i heard about it, it seems like it was off the hook. I know there was a movie done about it that had Salma Hayek & Mike Meyers in the movie. I'm gonna have to rent that. Wasn't the owners of the club brothers? When was Studio 54 club tore down? Where was it located at in New York? I was born in 76 so i don't remember nothin about the 70's. I did like the disco music like The Bee Gees Staying Alive song. What's the name of the group that sang Rock The Boat in the 70's? The song was very popular. I also like Chic's Everybody Dance & Good Times songs.
