Perhaps I am looking for something that is just all too rare, but is there anybody here who has episodes of the Lucy Show from the B&W years OR any episodes which have not been released on DVD? It seems there are only about 30 episodes which are on DVD and that's it. I am a die-hard fan of this show and would be happy to trade or pay for such tapes.

Actually, Columbia House has a VHS collector's edition of this show and there's probably about 10 eps of the first season on them...they're a little expensive but worth it, they're very high quality, not like those cheap DVDs, that seem to just have the same episodes on them from the last 2 seasons...

Get copies from someone instead, it's cheaper, try Brock at The Lucy Lounge.

It's true that getting 2nd, 3rd, 4th gen. copies from someone is much cheaper, but the picture/sound quality can't hold a candle to Columbia. You pay good money, but they are absolutely pristine.

I have all of the first and second seasons, all but 3 of the fifth season and around a third of the sixth season.
