View Full Version : The Final Season
barwars 07-31-2003, 09:51 PM What do we know so far....
Peri Gilpin is still starring so.... she must come back.
Jane Leeves is pregnant, and it WILL be written into the show.
(RUMOR) Ive heard rumors of Lilith having a 6 month contract to star in the second half of the season. HOPEFULLY
TVGuide wrote this.... "there's a big, life-altering event involving Maris once again making trouble in Niles's life" and mentions many actresses that MAY play her part, meaning we finally see Maris Crane once and for all. HOPEFULLY NOT, its HILARIOUS not seeing her, but hearing so many stories. If they HAVE to bring her back, I hope she gets a spinoff, next to Norm's Vera, she's the greatest TV character, we've never seen.
Frasier W. Crane 07-31-2003, 10:04 PM I hope Lilith comes back for a while! But they have to be GOOD episodes that make me laugh...
And I really hope Kelsey will do a Cheers thing at the end of the season...
When he said "I've had a picture of what the final show would be like 10 years ago..." I hope he means what I Think he means!!
Brian Damage 08-02-2003, 11:42 AM Hopefully it means he's back to the bar. ;)
DianeChambers87 08-02-2003, 12:55 PM I have a big problem though with having the reunion in the last episode of Frasier....ok if they all go back to the bar i'm afraid that the focus will move from a "Cheers Reunion" to a "Frasier reuniting with Cheers reunion" you know what I mean? Cheers deserves it's own hour special reunion by itself (without the Frasier cast) and Frasier deserves it's finale by itself their own cast has earned it....does anybody agree?
trapperjohn 08-02-2003, 05:11 PM I have to agree. Frasier is not just a spinoff of Cheers. it has proved itself to be a great show. it deserves a farewell with jsut the Frasier cast members. Cheers had their own goodbye in "One for the Road."
Brian Damage 08-02-2003, 07:51 PM I guess you guys have a point.
DianeChambers87 08-02-2003, 07:58 PM plus i don't want the main focus of the Cheers reunion to be Frasier...I mean granted Frasier was a major character in Cheers but he wasn't lead role or anything you know? A good way to end Frasier would be Frasier moving back to boston, then the last five minutes of the show you see frasier get out of a cab in front of cheers...then the reunion Starts....
BebeLilithFan154 08-03-2003, 12:30 AM I agree, Frasier deserves a finale all its own and Cheers deserves its own reunion. But in a perfect world, if Frasier and Lilith do get back together, that could eventually lead into a Cheers reunion...
Brian Damage 08-03-2003, 11:51 AM I think the way Frasier goes back to Boston, is because he's invited to Lilith's wedding to that really pale guy that we met last season.
I hate to see the show end next season, for the reason that "Friends" (a show I do not care for) will be ending around the same time and will get all the attention, magazine covers, NBC publicity and will likely eclipse a "Frasier" finale.
Plus, it would be nice if the show could drag on to a 12th season, then the character of Frasier would've been on the air for 20 years tieing Gunsmoke's Marshall Dillon as the longest running prime-time TV character.

I really hope that it won't be another serious storyline, between Niles's heart attack and the season finale, last season was way too serious..

Ignore that, I made an error.
I hope Frasier moves back to Boston. I'm not a regualr Frasier viewer, but if its Cheers, Im there!:)
MonarC 08-17-2003, 11:45 AM Do you think Lilith and Frasier will get back together? omg:

I don't think so. I think both characters moved on.
MonarC 09-22-2003, 03:53 PM oh good that would be scary...
smokeypeach 09-24-2003, 04:19 PM this is lilith/frasier for those who dont no and i of ccourse really really really hope lilith does come back cause even if frasier and lilith dont get back together it would be cool for lilith to be on for a while and i think it would be cool for frasier to come back to boston for liliths wedding just cause it would be interesting
barwars 09-24-2003, 08:17 PM Either Lilith.... or a return to Cheers.
Im a fan of both shows, but Frasier always seemed like it was carrying on the Cheers legacy (and in some ways, surpassing it)
But I think Frasier should have its own series finale, with a cliffhanger leading up the Cheers reunion.

Oh but they make such a good couple lol!!! Lilith had him COMPLETELY whipped when they were married...lol he even admit it to the guys...lol it was hilarious!
Valma 09-27-2003, 11:00 AM They are just as good when they aren't a "couple". I don't think they should be together again, but Lilith makes a fine visitor to Seattle. :-)
Harper49 01-10-2004, 11:24 PM Will it stay for the 12th season or will it just cancel?
barwars 01-14-2004, 01:00 PM It ends in May.
and unless this season was suppossed to be longer....
there's only 11 episodes left. (Im sure the finale will be an hour long, maybe 90 minutes) (it should air on a Thursday, May 20th [when "Cheers" ended].... 11 years later)
