Ick, Have fun.. I had to have mine cut out by an oral surgeon. Nothing to eat but soup and popsicles for three days. I thought I was going to starve. Hope it goes better for you.

Good luck. :) I hope it goes well for you. My teeth have to be pulled, too, but I'm scared to death. :eek:

They fill you up with so many painkillers that really the only problem is that you want to sleep. The removal isn't a pleasant thought, perhaps, but it's all over very quickly, and if your dentist is remotely good, you don't feel much. Good luck.

If it makes you feel any better, I had 11 teeth pulled at once...no, I'm not lying. I was a toothless nine year old. :o :lol:

I had mine out last week. Its not as bad as everyone says. Not to mention the painkillers they give you is the greatest drug ever. I got my stitches out yesterday, and that hurt more than the surgery did.

:lol: Blair, I do believe that is a sight I would pay to see. Be sure to take pictures and send 'em to me.

Yeah they had to cut mine out too. It didn't hurt that bad. The worst was that although I was basically out and couldn't feel too much, I could feel them tugging me teeth.

I had to have mine cut out too. OUCHHH it hurt for about a week afterwards. But the drugs were good.:lol:

I was like 6 years old when I got like 4 teeth pulled- the real big teeth on the bottom row beside the molars. They only actually completely grew back a few years ago. Then I got another tooth out. It's painful- I haven't had my wisdom teeth taken out yet-but I think they've started to rot cos I've lost all wisdom. Good Luck and I hope you deal with the least pain possible

Oh... good luck. When I got mine taken out I was allergic to the anesthesia (sp?) stuff and I almost woke up in the middle of the operation, so they had to give me more and I was sick as a dog for a week and my cheeks were the size of texas... but im sure that wont happen to you! They said there was a 1 out of 10 chance of it happening to me and it happened anyways :lol:. But everyone else that Ive heard get it done does great. Good luck and Godspeed! ;) :)

I hope it went okay, Kerri! Let us know when you come back. I have to have an impacted wisdom tooth taken out (I got luuuuucky. All I'll ever have is 1) pretty soon here. I'm scared of even having one to be taken out.

it went ok...i mean im sore n all...n the side effects of the medicine arent so great but im ok

i dont even really remember the surgery...but all in all it wasnt that bad

what do they have you on? Don't forget to put the ice and heating pad on it..my doctor told me to, and i didn't and my face and gums got all swollen:lol:

yesterday was the ice...today is the heat....ive been doing it all but im swollen anyway!! ooo well
