What is aim and how do I go about downloading or using it? Cos I need to talk to someone using aim about writing for a website- they don't really contact any other way.

Just go to www.aol.com and type in AIM under search. It will give a link to download AIM (and it's free). Make sure that you download the IM for the correct operating system you're using.
