As most of us already know, this is going to be the last season for frasier......but in a way it's like the last season for Cheers as well. I mean who knew that it could have such a succesful spin off.....and we still had bits and pieces of Cheers anytime anyone would visit....So we were updated from time to time about the little boston pub.....but now Frasier's over....and this is it guys.....like no more Cheers or characters ANYWHERE.........Even though Frasier has done a good a long run....and a lot of people think that it should have ended sooner...The whole Cheers saga is over....and it's kind of cool to think that it lasted 22 years......

We'll always have re-runs.

yeah, I was thinking about that myself. But, if the rumors about Frasier's final season are true, then that could lead up to a Cheers reunion...

ok, I know you must be asking what the rumor is. Before I say, let me say that it's just something I read, and as far as I know, it's still just a rumor, so don't get your hopes up! Anyway, the rumor is that Bebe Neuwirth signed a 6 month contract to become a regular on the show. Personally, I'm praying this wil happen! But don't go spreadin stuff around because I was supposed to keep my trap shut too lol!

If that's true...then maybe it could lead up to a reunion...plus I would so competely watch Frasier if lilith was in it! lol

Maybe if they wouldve given "The George Wendt Show" a chance then maybe the legend would live on.:)

I have heard that Niles and Daphne might have a spinoff of their own. That would be a spinoff of a spinoff!

DianeChambers87
07-31-2003, 05:57 PM
Oh see it IS norm world...because that's what I was gonna put originally but then I wasn't sure if he said Norm World like Disney world(Florida) or Norm land like Disney land (Cali)

haha yeah kind of like Good Times, which is a spinoff of Maude, which is a spinoff of All In the Family

Itll be sad to see it go, Niles would have mad the perfect person for a spinoff- until he married Daphne, Niles is such a great character, he wouldve done really good on his own.

Niles AND Daphne together, in.... THE MOONS. with Daphne's mom, Simon, and Daphne's rumored baby (Jane Leeves is pregnant.)

Exactly! Nobody has anything better going on (career-wise), and stereotype or not, they are their characters for life!

It makes perfect sense, it could be called like "Cheers 2 You" or something like that, or maybe just "Cheers" or "Cheers Again." I think almost everyone would do it, with the exception of Kirstie Alley, and maybe Kelsey, I think he's spent more time as Frasier Crane than Kelsey Grammar.

Think about it....
Ted - i think would rather do Cheers than Becker
Shelley - has she done anything since that made-for-tv-brady movie?
Woody - Most likely be back, he still does television (will & grace)
John - He'll ALWAYS be Cliff
George - I think hes on broadway or something, but would DEFINATELY be back
Bebe- most likely, she DOES reprise her role on Frasier every year, she MUST like it
Rhea - in a heartbeat
Kelsey - Gary The Rat doesnt look so promising
Kirstie - Whos cares about NOT DOING ROLES YOUVE ALREADY DONE, it would make more sense to only have Diane there anyways. And who really likes Pier 1??

[qhote]George - I think hes on broadway or something, but would DEFINATELY be back[/quote]

George did a play called "Rouing Third" late last year and he starred and produced his new movie "King of the Ants". He once said in an interview:

Q.Was it difficult to find a professional life after Norm Peterson?

A.Kind of, yeah. I’m still working on that. TV is especially tough in that regard. Cheers is still running [in syndication]. I don’t think TV audiences are ready to see me do something else. And I’ve learned that painfully. Fortunately, there is theater and movies.

Personally I am dying to see Wendt back in television.

I've been thinking of that since the first day I saw Cheers! The only reason I'm looking forward to Fraiser ending is because I really do think that they will do something with Cheers. I mean maybe he'll meet them *all in Boston (you know Sammy and Diane, and maybe {hopefully} even Rebecca). Or something like that. It'll be so sad to see it go, I mean what the hell is wrong w/ Kelsey Grammer he makes like a million dollars an episode (well he's the highest paid actor on television)! Who would give that up? Fraiser is one of the most loved people on tv! I think I'll cry for at least three days when it ends! :(

If it wasn't done before, they could've done the old "Frasier wakes up, and realizes the entire 'Frasier' series was just a dream" routine. I'd love to see Frasier "return" to cheers, and try to fit back into the atmosphere that's changed since. Although we've gotten bits and pieces of the "cheers life" through Frasier, we haven't really been able to see the atmosphere of the bar, which I think would be great. Im torn though, because as much as I'd love to see something like that (and trust me, i DO!) I think the end of Frasier should focus on Frasier, and NOT go back to Cheers, unless thats what Frasier decides to do with his life or something. Hardcore Frasier fans probably dont want it to dwell back on the Cheers days.

yes I agree with letting Frasier have it's own finale and have it focused on his cast and show...plus I don't want the Cheers reunion to be focused on just frasier going back to boston...

Well I do agree that they should have something about just Fraiser but I don't know. This is the end of 11 years of not just Fraiser but Cheers to. I mean this is 22 years of Cheers and Fraiser and the only reason Fraiser is "Fraiser" is because of Cheers. I hope they will do at least a little something about Cheers, because this is the actual final end of Cheers (sniff, sniff :( ) unless they do a spin-off.

DianeChambers87

I want a Cheers reunion to happen I just don't want the main focus of it to be Frasier. What would be cool is if they end Frasier with Frasier going back to boston and you see the Frasier cast in the airport saying goodbye. and maybe Niles and Daphne could be moving away too with Martin. and yeah, so Frasier takes them to the airport and says a long goodbye and you see him kind of walk around the airport alone...you see him kind of droop his head because he's sad cause he's alone....and then he's walking out and he looks at one of the desks where you buy the tickets and the lady standing behind it looks just like Carla (in fact Rhea pearlman is playing the part) Only she has blonde curly hair instead of dark brown, and he is amazed... So you see him kind of stumble and walk over there and is like:

Frasier: excuse me.

(Carla look-alike looks up)

Carla look-alike: Yes? (Smiles) How may I help you today sir?

Frasier: well this may seem kind of foolish it's just, you have an uncanny resemblence to this woman I use to know!

CLA: Really? For some reason I get that alot!hey aren't you doctor Frasier Crane?? (looks to the side)Hey Shelley c'mere!

(Shelley Long comes out in a black wig, Frasier jumps when he sees her and ofcourse she is in uniform too)

Diane look-alike: what?

CLA: Look it's Doctor Frasier Crane!

DLA: Oh wow!! This is an honor! me and Rhea listen to your show every day!

(Frasier has this of horror on his face)

CLA: hey doc? are you ok?

Frasier: Uhh..yes yes..Sorry um...(wants to runaway so he quickly says) uhh what flight is available???

DLA: Boston

Frasier: what?

CLA: You asked what flights are availabe, and she said boston. Are you sure your ok?

Frasier: Yes yes! I'm fine, wait so your telling me that the only flights availabe at this time are to boston?

DLA: Yup

(Frasier looks up)

Frasier: (starts to laugh hysterically) (to the ceiling) IS THIS SOME SORT OF SIGN?!

(Shelley and Rhea look at each other in confusion)

Frasier: Yes get me on the first flight to boston!!

then they cut to the last scene of Frasier and you see him walking down beacon street and go down the stairs.......then it goes dark

and the reunion starts!!!!

lol...ok i went into a miniature fanfic...sorry lol...

Okay, I had this dream last night.

Frasier and Diane are standing at the altar, and the minister's about to pronounce them husband and wife, and Sam and Lilith come along going "We're gonna be married right after you!" Frasier's mouth drops open, and Diane looks as if she's gonna pass out. But she leaps into Sam's arms saying "I KNEW you'd be back for me!! I knew it!" And Lilith looks at Sam furiously at the way he's holding Diane. Then to make him jealous, she jumps into Frasier's arms and kisses him. Then says "Please, I've loved you with all my heart and I'm miserable without you. Please marry me again!". Then they suddenly turn around and have a double wedding.

It was weird, especially since I don't really watch Frasier.

It is kind of sad that the Cheers legacy is ending but I think it's ending at the right time. I personally think that Frasier hasn't been that great these past few years, and I think that it's good to end the Cheers legacy now.
