View Full Version : Old Navy... lukes42 07-31-2003, 01:29 PM Has anyone seen the newest Old Navy ad? Well, they seem to be doing a parody of Leave It To Beaver! They even have the Leave It To Beaver theme playing and everything. They have each one of the characters coming out of the front door (much similar to the 4th season opening). The ads I just can't stand are those Geico commercials. WIsh they would disappear. Those geico ads are waste and so foolish. THe company must be hard up for writers. I know it was only the front porch, but they copied it to the last detail- it wasn't just something that had the same 'feel'- it was dead on! Since Mark B mentioned the accuracy of the set I took note this time, and it is accurate. Of course, that wouldn't be too hard to do but it was interesting. The commercial it self is weird. I don't get it. I like most of Old Navy's commercials because they are funny and interesting. That commercial is strange. What's the deal with the Beaver kid making the stupid grin, and then that sound at the end?
