Can anyone tell me what is the current fair exchange VHS for VCDs or dvdrs on a trade?

for example : 1 vhs = ? vcds..
1 = ? dvdrs etc..

There is no real = way. I think of it in terms of hours.

1 hour of shows = 1 hour of shows.

1 hour of shows = 1 hour of shows. Yeah, that is what I go by as well-- the running times. I also go by the quality. (ex: 1 good episode for 2 bad episodes).

However, if you'd like, charging a few extra cents for DVDs/VCDs wouldn't be unreasonable...as long as it's not drastic. ;)

Most of the time I wouldn't agree with this statement. The VCDs I've seen, though they will last forever, don't have as good a quality as VHS. If it were up to me, I'd just trade even up (i.e. 1 episode on VHS for 1 episode on VCD). Of course DVDs would be another story entirely.

Thanks, that's how I would do it too agent 13. However, everyone has their own system. So just making sure Im not being taken advantage of. I m trading 3 masters of Swat cats ( of course I have copies for myself) each tape has 2 episodes each run time 55 minutes , plus 2 2 hr movies for 90's spiderman cartoon complete on vcd and batman beyond. I think its a fair trade . Just making sure how it works for future trades.

I have come across someone in the past who wanted 3 vhs for 1 dvd. I thought it was a bit much and never bothered with that person again. Thanks everyone for the advise. You are all most kind.
