I read in this week's issue of TV Guide that Maris is going to finally be shown. The producers have said that she will probably be on there halfway through the season. Some possible actresses to play Maris are Kathie Lee Gifford and Calista Flockhart.

No - sorry, but what the article said was that there would definitely be a story line that involved Maris, coming about a third of the way through the season and Chis Lloyd was quoted as saying that there was "a chance" that we might get a glimpse of Maris. David Lee has adamantly denied that Maris will be shown in the flesh, in the most strongest terms, apparently on ATF and so if he is to be believed then there will be no Maris sightings in the final season.

I don't know, but maybe the character of Maris is best left to the imagination...just like Vera was on Cheers.

I think the producers and writers just may show Maris. Being that it is the last season.
