*sighs* The second to last episode of the series ever to be made. Oh well, this episode was actually meant to be the series finale, but The Curiosity Company bargained with FOX so much so they can get the other episode, The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings, to be aired as the finale, since Matt and his crew made that episode as the intended finale if FOX ever cancelled the show. Matt's a genious I tell you. Well, here's the description. Enjoy!

4ACV06 - Bender Should Not be Allowed on TV
When a young star of the hit robot soap opera "All My Circuits" literally falls to pieces, Bender seizes his chance for stardom. Along with Fry and Leela, Bender sabotages the auditions and secures a spot on the show. As a result of Bender's misbehavior, the Nielsen numbers rise, making Bender a star. When a new group, Fathers Against Rude Television (or F.A.R.T.) plans a Million Dad March to protest his character, Bender realizes his affect on kids.

Remember, Sunday, August 3rd at 7PM EDT/PDT, 6PM CDT/MDT on FOX.

Maybe they wanted to make it clear that Bender should not be allowed on TV. :o *sighs* FOX - The antichrist.

Also, did you ever notice, right before Futurama airs on Sundays, they insult it?! When they say 'All starting off with a brand-new Futurama!', Homer goes 'Do'gh! I mean, Woohoo!' Do they really need to keep reminding us they hate it?

 Nice observation. I've seen it, sure, but never put two and two together. Fox must think we're all as dumb as Homer.

How dare they hate Futurama when they give us crap like Married by America...and I dunno, every other piece of reality crap they've put on. I'd say Banzai...but the 4 mintes I watched last Sunday was so ridiculous, I had to laugh.

I thought it was great. Especially now since I know the secret to FOX's schedule planning.

Executive bot: [Rolls dice.] More reality shows!

All in all, a great jab at the FOX network. Matt should be proud. :D

Great episode! I loved the robot that broke down and Fry's "Hey Bender" 4 times.

Only 1 episode left! :(

As a new fan to "Futurama" (this was the second episode I've seen), I'll say this episode was pretty funny. Too bad I've become a fan too late, eh?

You can thank FOX for that. I remember in early 1999 when they started advertising all these promos about a new show coming to FOX, and I thought it looked great. And even better, it was going to air on Tuesday nights. I remember watching the whole first season and loving it. Then, by the time season two rolled around, FOX moved it to Sundays. I watched about half of the season. Then, they moved it to the 6PM slot around December of January or so, and didn't bother telling anyone. I had no idea, and since football always ran late, I never got to see it. I forgot all about the show until this past March. And I thought it was dead and buried a long time ago. Thanks to CN though, I got caught up. Still, 72 episodes isn't that much. I think we're lucky we got any episodes at all.
