I wrote an email to columbia house and this is the reply i got about the situation...

My email to them:

I have a question. I hear that you ARE going to release the Facts of Life on video at the end of February. Is this true? God i hope it is becuase i REALLY want facts of life on video. I also heard that Diff'rent Strokes is ALREADY on video to sell. If so, do i have to seperately join the video club if i am IN the cd club? or are they two of the same clubs? becuase i have bought cd's from your company and if i don't have to re-join a different club and can buy video's from i will definatley do so... but my main question is... Is Facts of Life really comming to video to sell at the end of february? Thanks for you Time!

So the rumor about the facts of life comming to video at the end of february does look like it is just a RUMOR but the fact about Diff'rent Strokes comming to video is NOT a rumor it is indeed out on video and you can buy it through the above address.... Yeah.. but did you read the message on the General Sitcoms board where the person who works for CH said it was definitely happening.. it's a done deal..

how doyou know that that person wasn't lying? I mean... i wouldn't trust anything.. i got that straight from the email to them... Email them... ask them!! I mean... that's what they say and I am trusting that... cuz i mean yes as much as i want to believe it... it's really hard to not trust people... cuz i heard people say that they were gonna play dope this time around and they were a person from nick at ntie and blah blah blah... but did nick at nite play dope... NO! hehe... it's hard to trust people on this board... but i am gonna trust whats right from the source... sorry... just wanted to inform people that's what they said to me... i dont' know if its' true or a rumor... but we'll see in like a month now won't we?

Check this week's TV Guide and there is an ad for Diff'rent Strokes.. I was a doubting thomas myself when it was first posted, but now I believe what was posted - I thought they were lying because I thought there was no way it was happening. Then all these people forwarded me e-mails telling me they were being released.

Just because YOU haven't received an email telling you that it's coming out doesn't mean it's not happening.. They have a lot of different people answering emails and one of them may not have been informed.. one of them sent me a message that DS wasn't coming out, then 5 minutes later I got another mail that said they gave me incorrect info and said it was being released..

oh no it's true! Diff'rent Strokes is out on video... but i mean they said that they don't know if they are its in for review... I mean... you just need to lie on both sides of the track for now... cuz if it doesn't come out in a month there are gonna be A LOT of people complaining and liek i said before... we'll just have to WAIT and see!!!
