I heard the Spurs are thinkin of getting rid of Stephen Jackson now that they have Hedo Turkoglu & Ron Mercer. Denver said they are interested in Stephen. I think the Spurs should keep Stephen. I also read that the Spurs are gonna keep Steve Kerr. The Spurs don't need his old ass. He need to retire. He got enough rings. The Spurs got too many shooting guards now. Somebody gotta go. Steve Smith is still there also.

Man what are you talking about Steve Kerr is amazingly great. He stays ready. Anytime they need him he is ready to go. He stays pumped up and is great at 3 pointers. I will miss Jackson if he is traded he is a great guy and a good player. He has a lot of heart. They already traded Danny Ferry :(

Stever Kerr was a very good backup player and he still is. He's one of the best 3 point shooters ever and he should continue to play. As for Stephen Jackson, I'm more surprised that nobody has signed him yet. I think that if he got a chance to play 40 minutes a night, everynight, he might be one of the top players in the league.

Good for the Spurs, but Turkoglu sucks. Don't give me any stats about him either that show he's good, a lot of players have good stats but anyone can see they're horrible.

Mr Shy Guy i see you're a asskisser. U agree with anything Monarc says about the Spurs. I see the Spurs signed Kevin Willis's old ass for another yr. These athletes make me sick. They act like they don't know when to retire. They act like they can play sports forever. If you've accomplished everything there is to do, why should u continue to play? Kerr has 5 rings. What else is there for him to accomplish?

Dude, all I said was that Stephen Jackson and Steve Kerr are good. Settle down. Did it ever occur to you that some players aren't are rings. I mean, sure, getting one would be nice but not all players really want on. Steve Kerr and Kevin Willis just want to play. Why is that such a problem with you?

Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul Jabbar all had a love for the game & so does a lot of other NBA legends but u don't see them still playing do u? Ya'll ever heard of a thing called old age? Once a player gets old, u can't continue to do the same things u did on the court when u were younger.

Magic, Jordan, Bird, and Kareem all played about 40 minutes per game. Plus, Jordan has retired 3 times now (and hopefully he'll make no more), so what does that tell you about him? All of those players have had great careers, but they have gotten tired. Steve Kerr and Kevin Willis would be lucky now if they got to play 15 minutes per game.

Steve & Kevin are lucky if they would see 15 minutes a game but that should tell them something. Age has caught up with them & they are no longer useful to a lot of teams. Yeah so what if Steve can still knock down some threes. He can't do nothin else. If i were their ages, i wouldn't wanna sit on the bench for long periods of time just to collect a paycheck. Both of them should be set for life if they were to retire. I think the reason why a lot of athletes still play when they're very old is because they're scared that they can't get another job doing something else when they retire or they don't have enough money saved to live off of the rest of their life.

Are you serious??? Who wouldn't want to sit on their butts, and receive ridiculous amounts of money for doing absolutely nothing? Sounds like a dream job to me. I do agree with you on Kevin Willis. I don't recall him ever being very good, so obviously him being gone wouldn't mean much, but Steve Kerr still has quite a few good years left in him as far as I'm concerned.

I guess i have to agree with u. I guess i wouldn't mind sitting on the bench collecting a paycheck doing nothin especially making the kind of money they're making. Kevin Willis was good back in the day earlier in his career with Atlanta Hawks. He was a good scorer & rebounder. I'm surprised for his height at 7'0, he never blocked that many shots at all his entire career. He has short arms also.

I think a lot of teams could still use Kerr, however I don't think Willis would be a player many people would go after for. As long as he can still shoot the three, he could play forever cause he infact dosen't play a lot. And how could you not want to just sit on the bench, watch a basketball game from courtside, and get a playcheck! That would be heaven for a lot of people. But I must agree with you that some players don't know what they're going to do after they retire, unless they have other things they can do of course.

Every time I see him play he messes up, barely moves, and never looks like he's "into" the game. Just my opinion, lol.
