Sorry to say, but I found this episode hard to watch. I could point out so many things about this episode that were just lame, but I won't even bother. Hopefully someone out there enjoyed this one.

I could point out so many things about this episode that were just lame, but I won't even bother. Hopefully someone out there enjoyed this one. ks 01-15-2001, 12:19 AM I'm just so happy that I've seen FOL 3 times tongiht, and am guaranteed a 4th time at 1:30et tonight http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I also got to watch "The Division"! If you're an FOL fan it doesn't get much better than this http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ------------------ -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Jo: Things are NOT going well here. They're dragging your name through the mud...I think I'm gonna have to hit somebody. Natalie: Who asked you to defend my honor? Jo: I think I'm gonna have to hit you. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Cokies 01-15-2001, 03:10 AM Well ,I guess you found one person, I enjoyed it. One of the better episodes of season six actually, in my opinion. ------------------ "It was just like Saturday Night Fever, only it was a Friday." FOL85NatandMrsGRock 01-15-2001, 06:17 PM I love this episode!! what do you think is wrong with it?? I think it is very cute!! hehe... i love how tootie thinks she's gonna die and i absolutley love the part when nat does her little "audition" and she does that i'm here talking ya aroudn the block or somethign liek that... i love that parT!! it's sooo cute!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ jo: mrs. g gone on ahead I KNOW i can fix the problem MRs. G: jo only twice in my life have i spoke in an arbitrary manner, once when my ex husband morgaged our home to pay the bookee, and now, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE OR I'LL BEAT YOU WITH MY FRYING PAN!!! Jo: Woaw Nat!! (grabs blairs palm tree from nat) Nice Girls Don't Throw Trees!!! blair: now jo i know we usually dont agree but that was a scuzy thing for your mother to do! tootie: wahts so scuzy about it!?!? dont you read the national enquirer, some of the best people are Shacking up!! mrs. g: TOOTIE!!! im surrounded by x-rated kids!!! ~FOL85NatandMrsGRock~ *Sarah Lynn* Michele35 01-15-2001, 07:04 PM Actually, I thought Natalie was pretty funny in that episode. In comparison to some of the other Season 6 eps, this one really wasn't that bad although like Coily there were a few things that left me scratching my head. As much as I like 'FOL', imo there were only a handful of Season 6 and 7 episodes that were truly enjoyable. ------------------ Tootie: Muffy? Her name is Muffy? What kind of person is named Muffy? Jo: Beats me, Tootie. FOL85NatandMrsGRock 01-15-2001, 07:09 PM I TOTALLY AGREE Michele35!!!! I didn't enjoy the 6th and 7th season as much as i did all the toher seasons... and to me they were kind of a let down.... cuz there were soooo many episodes in those seasons that i didn't enjoy that much and there were a few that i ABSOLUTLEY loved!! like i loved... talk, talk, talk... smile, working it out, doo wah, the one when mrs. g is accused of having an affair i can't think of the name or it, but i mean there were a lot of eps that were a BIG disappointment... but that's ok.. you gotta take the good and take the bad! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ jo: mrs. g gone on ahead I KNOW i can fix the problem MRs. ~FOL85NatandMrsGRock~ *Sarah Lynn* JoPol_wannabe 01-15-2001, 07:18 PM This is one of my favorite episodes Nat was very good in it. I like when she said her audition and when she did the news and pretended she had someone there talking about the crisis that was funny. I also like the part when Tootie gives this girl advice to dump her boyfriend and the boyfriend calls in and say he is going to come down there and straighten Tootie out. This is one of the better eps of season 6. ------------------ JO: Oh no Tootie, I hate teaching people how to drive... They're always nervous, they make stupied mistakes, and they cry when you slap them. Blair's Poem: "If you hit a dead end Then Look on the shelf There might be a clue Maybe in a book." Tootie: That's the pot calling the kettle black. Nat: A flash back within a flash back... I'm so brilliant it scares me. Cokies 01-15-2001, 07:25 PM Yeah, you're right, season six is when the show started to show it's downfall, but it still was in Edna's Edibles and still had the classic theme song, so that's enough for me. ------------------ "It was just like Saturday Night Fever, only it was a Friday." Devastation26 01-15-2001, 08:34 PM The person who mentioned that it couldn't get any better, 4 FOL episodes and the division on the same night is wrong!. A fandemonium on TV LAnd, 4 eps on N@N and the division would be perfect. And it is possible, too (although you would have to make some choices. TVaddict 01-15-2001, 08:45 PM I'm not sure I'm prepared to handle a fandemonium right now. I'd need lots of time to prepare myself. Training, etc. Not that there's one scheduled as of yet, but when there is...... by the way, do they literally run the show for 48 straight hours and does that mean that they actually show 96 episodes? Oh, and since this topic is about Talk, Talk Talk, I guess I'll comment on that: I'm an idiot so I missed it because I didn't look closely at the episode thing and I assumed there was no way they'd put FOL on back to back. But I like the episode, not the best one ever, but good enough. Though the Blair sub plot was sort of dumb, even though I am a big Blair fan. Chrissy Snow 01-16-2001, 03:55 AM I think talk talk talk was all right i didn't like Jo's hair though, it was a downfall really because up until then the show was really funny and had alot of action but talk talk talk was just in a radio place not much was going on and blair shouldn't of apoligized thats not her charactor coily2 01-16-2001, 09:56 AM I guess what irritated me about this episode was the stupidity of it all. Sure, alot of them were stupid plot-wise, but I just ignored it. I worked as a radio DJ for a couple of years professionally, as well as throughout college, so some of the stuff that happened and that was said was so unrealistic that it bugged me. If I didn't have intimate knowledge of the profession, I may have found it funnier. Besides, what the hell was the professor doing at the radio station at 1am with a female student? That would've been quite the little scandal when I in college. ThomasE 01-16-2001, 01:34 PM I liked Jo's hair in Talk Talk Talk. The scenery looked boring but it was late night at a radio station so I guess that is understandble. The episode was actually good though. I recently watched 2 original NBC recorded episodes of 62' pickup and Tootie's Graduation. I didn't care for the pickup episode too much but liked the Graduation episode. Abbey22 01-16-2001, 11:54 PM ThomasE: Just out of curiousity, where did you obtain the original NBC recordings of those episodes? Thanks. Abbey ThomasE 01-17-2001, 02:26 AM I received them in a trade I did with someone. If you are interested, E-Mail me. Abbey22 01-18-2001, 12:43 AM I just tried emailing you from my hotmail account about the original NBC recordings of FOL that you have. I got an error though when trying to send it with it saying something about being an unrecognizable address. Anyway, long story made short, now is not the best time to obtain them for me. I would like to keep the offer in mind for a few months from now when it would be a better time. Thanks. Abbey |
