Hi. Am looking for Hazel's that were not taped off of WWOR or TV LAND. Does anyone have any in their collection that they got from other sources? Sometimes other stations would show them and edit out different parts. I would eventually like to see what was cut out of some of my favorite episodes. Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

Both WTBS and the old Family Channel used to show "Hazel" in the 1980s, although Family Channel didn't show the first (B&W) season. WTBS's prints must have been from an earlier syndication run because they were all scratchy and, in the case of the color episodes, faded. The Family Channel prints looked bright (almost too bright, actually) and clear. I didn't tape any, though.

I taped a lot of HAZELs from my NBC station in NY around 1990-92. They never showed the black and white ones.
I have about 90 HAZELS from the color era (2nd-5th seasons). They showed them about 3:30 or 4 or 4:30 in the morning, along with DONNA REED, FATHER KNOWS BEST, FLYING NUN. Besides HAZEL, I taped DONNA and FKB but not FLYING NUN.
Someone just sent me about 50 WWOR HAZELs. I can send you a list of my NBC HAZELs. I am looking for all others I need.
THANKS.

Hi,
I well remember when Donna was on NBC. At 4 am. When was Hazel on WWOR?

This is somewhat of a reply and a new question as well: I really enjoyed the episodes of Hazel which featured George and Dorothy Baxter, and frequently check on E-bay to see if any VHS tapes or DVDs are available. I've purchased a couple on E-bay which were copied either from film or TV broadcasts, and the quality is OK, but wonder if anyone sells really clear and authentic copies?

Other than the Chritmas tape, Hazel has never been officially released on video or DVD. I have over 100 Hazels but they are not columbia House quality crystal clear. Other than Tv Lands pathetic showing of only about 25 episodes total, Hazel hasn't been shown in years.
I'd rather get average quality episodes I have never seen than none at all.
