Speaking only for myself, of course, but I usually avoid sites where I am required to register before I am even allowed to view it. I'd rather know something of what the site is about before giving out my personal info.

It's kind of like being required to purchase a plain box without knowing what's inside. You never know what you might be getting. It could be wonderful; it could be horrible.

its a message board, but theres also a website there, but you have to register to see the forums
