This is my 1st topic I will have posted so I wanna make it good!

Well a couple days ago I read over the net that Fred had died of a heart attack of the set of "Royal Family"(correct me if I am wrong) and when he died Lamont did not attend his funeral and I am wondering was there a beef(problem going on between them) that made him not make it!?? if you have the answer plz respond and let me know, thanks! Yes Redd Foxx died while rehearsing on the set of "Royal Family" in October of 1991. Due to his numerous fake heart attacks over the years, the cast and crew thought at first that he was joking. As far as Demond and Redd having a "beef" and that being the reason Demond did not attend the funeral, I do not think this is the case. Demond has said how much he loved Redd and still misses him to this day. He told of how on the last day of shooting "Sanford and Son," Redd hugged him, kissed him, and wished him good luck. So just because he did not attend Redd's service, doesn't mean it was due to a grudge. Look at Jean Stapleton, she did not attend Carroll O Connor's funeral, due to a prior engagement; the two of them had remained good friends until the end. Another reason, as was the case with Jerry Lewis not attending Dean Martin's funeral, it might have proved too painful.

alright thanks but I dont know any of those 2 examples you gave me but I is there a reason that he didnt make it? thats my BIG question but thats cool the he said he loved me and missed him!
