hi guys, i have been hearing a lot of people want happy days on dvd. but don't keep you hopes up. stop fooling around and just tape all of them off of tv land on their twice as nice special everyday. they have it at 5pm-6pm everyday on tv land. they are going to show the first season in a couple days so get those blank tapes ready because you are going to be taping happy days 1 hour every single day and never miss an episode, except for the black nd white unaired pilot episode that is hard to find and has never been seen in over 20 years.

Why ask why?

Sure the tapes are great. I have all but one episode on tape. But I would like the "static free" reception. I want shows that weren't cut short so they could make a few more dollars by fitting in that extra commercial. I want to scene select my favorite episodes. I don't want to worry about my VHS fading after the years. I want to have bloopers or behind the scenes in the freature options on my DVD.

Why DVD now, you ask? It is highly upsetting that "All In The Family", "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Good Times" are on DVD, but not my favorite show. If the ONLINE HD MESSAGE BOARD members can't stir up enough attention to get HD on DVD, then what hope do we ever have to seeing HD DVDs in the next several years?


GIVE ME ALL THE SPECIAL FEATURES AND UNCUT SHOWS OF MY FAVORITE SHOW ON DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did the board ever have a petition signed for happy days on DVD?
If not, I really think we should all sign one...and maybe even sign names that arwent ours, to add a few:lol: :lol:

For your information.... All In The Family Season Set DVDs are on a yearly release... Mary Tyler Moore won't see the second season on DVD.... the release of the first season bombed.
