I have been a fan of Barney Miller for only a short time, so I am wondering if anybody who has been a fan of the show for years can answer this question or have any ideas how the actors received their character names for the show.
All I know that the name Wojciehowicz came from either Max Gail's dentist or creator Danny Arnold's.
Or how the writers or creators, etc. came up the name for the characters:wave:

That's a good question. I'm wondering how they came up with Yemana's name, because it's supposed to be Japanese but I've certainly never heard that name before. :confused:
