I am very surpised actually.. but since Step By Step was on Friday. Friday shows never really do top 10-good. But I did expect it to be in the 20s somewhere.

I mean SBS has a Dallas star, a Three's Company star, and once a Perfect Strangers star. I expected it to bring in a way larger audience.

In season six, Bronson Pinchot (Balki from PS) joins the cast as Jean-Luc. Basically, Cody's replacement.

THat's right, he played a more masculine role in SBS than he did in PS

I didn't know they were never ranked in the top 30. It kind of surprises me because most shows that aren't don't last as long as those two did.

I remember that now. Never would have though and I watched that show all the time.

I think the reason they never made the top 30 is because I don't believe those shows ever really caught on too much with an older audience. Shows like friends, and Will & Grace appeal to younger people, as well as older people, Whereas shows like step by step, and boy meets world seem to cater mostly to younger kids, and teenagers. I remember when Id try to watch these shows as a kid, my parents would always change the channel. It just didn't appeal to them. Those would be my guesses as to why they didn't do so great in the ratings.

I'm really surprised because those were 2 very popular shows and they lasted long too.

I'm not surprised BMW didn't make the top 30. But what was the highest Step By Step ranked.

I have always wondered why SBS never ranked high.

Boy Meets World... well im not too surprised: but here..

I think Step By Step appeals to both adults and kids. That's just my opinion. I just think the only reason it didnt rank high was because it was put on Friday. And Friday isnt the BIG TV night. But the weird thing is: Full House and Family Matters were in the top 30, yet Step By Step wasnt.... Hmm... anyone know its ratings?

Full House was in the top 30 six times between 1987 and 1995.

Family Matters was in the Top 30 three times between 1989 and 1998.
