Just wanted to inform you that sometime within the next week, Good Night Sweet Prinze (http://www.freddieprinze.homestead.com) will be disabled. It was great running the site, but no longer worth the expense, especially since I can not keep it fresh, and so MANY wonderful sites have sprung up since I first started this site.

The Fanfiction part of the site will be hosted on Tripod now, you can check out the new page here (http://starshinej.tripod.com/Home/Fanfichome.htm).

The messageboard is the same, feel free to let me know what you think!

I want to personally thank Starshine for starting something wonderful almost 3 years ago. I have always loved the way she had her site. It is too bad that Homestead got outrageous and charged for something that had been free for so long. I, for one, will miss it.
I am glad she is able to continue the fan fiction site on tripod. She gave me my start and I will forever be indebited to her for that. I will look forward to new installments of all the stories on there, and if I can get off my fat butt and get to writing again, maybe I can get Rita and Freddie to have that baby already! LOL
I do have another short story done, but I am waiting on my editor and then I will give it to you to post.

I am sadden to know of Good night Sweet Prinze saying good night. I have always enjoyed Starshines website honoring Freddie. I am blessed to have such a dear friend as Starshine to post Mera mami linda oyee! along with its seqel Deseo del Corazon. I have always appreciated her reviews with what was written in the fanfiction. I am so excited it is still going to another web site!

How sad. It hurts to see all your hard work on the site just gone. It happened to me too. Luckily you have your tripod site and I will go enjoy Freddie over there. :( Good Luck......... :(

I also want to thank Starshine for the 3 years of hard work and dedication hosting a site that brought so much enjoyment to so many Freddie Fans. It is sad to see it fold up and go away. Thanks for still continuing with a fan fiction site at tripod. We appreciate all your efforts.

Aww, this almost makes ya wanna cry... :crying: I think the first sites I found on Freddie after getting into CATM thru the TVLAND Re-runs & deciding to look the show up on the internet were Starshines site & the STICOMS site here. There weren't awhole lot of sites back in early 2001 like there are now. We will remember the site fondly & miss it. Can your pics from the site be maybe put up on one of the other Freddie sites or groups? I hate to see those gone.

I am so glad you will still have the Fan Fic site as I love reading the fan fics! :) The ANGEL fan fics were the first I read & got me hooked on reading the fan fics, Mariposa started something wonderful on your site & so glad to see others adding their stories. I can't wait to read the new stories...

It stinks how HOMESTEAD went to charging. Due to that this is why it is taking forever for me to do my site. Re-doing on other free website providers. Hope you'll have around here. I feel that a site doesn't have to be updated much to be special & important. With alot of older or dead stars like Freddie, there may not be much new info out on them. But the sites remain a tribute to the stars...

We will remember your site fondly...

Awwww how upsetting! It was a beautiful site and will be sorely missed. I understand though Starshine. It can be a lot of work and time to do a nice site. :D Good work!

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words, and also for your support during the run of the site! I really did enjoy having it, and like you all, I will miss it.

As for the pics on the site, most of them belong to Alex Gallardo. He sent them to me for the express purpose of having them up, so if anyone else is interested in putting the pics on your site, please email me annd I will send you the files Alex sent me. Any of the screenshots I took that are up are free for anyone to take and use.

You all are wonderful, and Freddie is lucky to have fans like you. Stay tuned to the Fanfic site - it ain't over until the fat lady sings, and lord knows I can't carry a tune! :rolleyes: :happyface
