Does anyone here have anyone famous in their Family Tree?

Well i do have a cousin who was in the movie "Arthur" .. but he was only an extra.

Not that I know of. I can only trace back like 4 generations.

My aunt's cousin was Alfred Hitchcock.

My Family keeps saying that my great, great, great uncles were Wilber & Orville Wright, But I'm a bit skeptical.

My Grandmother's aunt's cousin's son was President Garfield.

Im Related To David Copperfield but im not sure what he is. I Think Distant Cousin.

None that I know of, but one of my high school teachers is a distant cousin of Theodore Geisel (a.k.a. Dr. Seuss).

I wouldn't call her famous or important but my father's cousin wrote a lot of church songs. Her name is Karen Lafferty.

Yes I do have a good family backround. I aint indian, but i have native american blood in me, I had a family memeber on the Mayflower, A relitive of mine was a general for the south in the Civil War, A family member of mine was in the American Revolution, My uncle was in a camp during the holocaust, and i think theres more but i can't remember. But my Best Friend I think its here uncle, but he did the cartoon drawings in "Buety and The Beast", from Disney!

Country singer George Jones is my great great uncle.

Not that I know of but my friend's cousin is Gwen Stefani.

I think I'm related to Minnesota Twins pitcher Brad Radke. I think he's just a distant cousin though.

I know of none. Not many real people have my last name, but lots of people on movies and TV have it. lol

Not that I know off- one of my uncles was interested for a while in tracing back my mum's side of the family- but he didn't go too far really. There used to be a show in the UK in which the presenter would turn up somewhere to tell you you are related to a celebrity- and once the presenter went to a bowling alley to tell a girl she was related to one of the spice girls. I really liked that show- it wasn't all about celebrities- it was also about people looking for lost brothers/sisters etc, kinda like a friends reunited tv show (which I believe they're doing now)

A few of my relitives also came over on the Mayflower. Supposedly William Nickerson was one of the pilgrims who helped found Cap Cod Bay/Massachusetts Bay Colony or something... one of those people in the group of William Bradford and Miles Standish... I plan to brush up on my family history one of these days.

I'm not related to like anyone REALLY famous but I do have a pretty colorful backround. Um...my aunt's husband was in the mafia and died in prison. Annnnnnd...my great aunt's husband owned a few of the pool halls and places to gamble in Atlantic City and also some in I think Philly...and he was involved in the Mafia too, and they lived next door to some famous coach...I dunno what team or anything. Annnd...uh...he would never let my parent's go gambling b/c he knew all the tricks.

Oh, and I think someone like a cousin in my family was a senator, and there is an actress with my first and last name walking around out there. I hope one day she'll get REALLY famous and then I can try and make reservations for places and they'll be like, "OF COURSE! ANYTHING YOU WANT!"

I'm related to 'Big Jim' Colosimo and his nephew, Johnny Torrio, who were involved in one of Chicago's mobs in the 1920's.

Johnny was Al Capone's mob boss when Capone first came to Chicago. Colosimo was the boss of Torrio. When prohibition started, Capone and Torrio wanted to sell bootleg liquor, but their superior - Colosimo - didn't. So they had him killed. :faint:

My Dads side of the family is related to Alexander Graham Bell. I dont know what he is to me though. Either way, I still dont get any extra $$ out of it.:o

My brother in law is Norman Howell. He's a stunt man and coordinator. He's famous in the Hollywood circle. He's one of the best. You all have seen him in lots of movies, but you probably don't know it. I know thats not a family tree thing but it is sortof.

LOL, but seriously, the Boston Mafia was about as big as it gets in its day. If you type 'Boston Mafia' on Google, you can read for days about it. Most famous is probably Whitey Bulger.
Brother-in-law certainly qualifies as family tree, so Norman Howell is a famous branch Kitt.
As for my family, my first cousin played for the NY Giants during the 70s. Big whoop. ;)

Hehe, thank you! :) Alfred Hitchcock was always my favorite director long before I found out my great aunt was related to him :) :) Apparently she's gotten invitations every couple of years to attend a Hitchcock festival in England, but she's never gone :(

No one in my family tree but my husband's step dad claims that he is related to William Bradford who arrived here on the Mayflower. But he has no documentation of this relationship.:(

I'm not related to anybody cool in my family. :( I do, however, know an actress personally - Phyllis Frelich. And if I remember correctly, one of my sister's best friend's brothers is a celeb of sorts - that would be Josh Duhamel, you remember him from "All My Children". ;)

Billy is a really sweet guy, I would be proud to be related to him. Anyway, my mother's cousin is Danny Bunz who played for the 49er's and has a Super Bowl ring. Oh My God! Judy's my hero! (notice my username?) Yeah, Frances Ethel Gumm was her real name! that's so cool. I'm reading all of her biographies. She had two older sisters, Virginia and Mary Jane - could you be related to one of them?

Hey, he has a State Park named after him on Cape Cod- Nickerson State Park. I camped there once. lol!

but anyway, supposedly, my Aunt's great-grandfather invented the umbrella.... but that's not directly related to me... she's my aunt through marriage....
