I loved the ending when Fred stole things from the hotel to give to Lamont cause he gave back all the wedding presents! The funniest was that he gave him a Bible from the hotel room. Eventhough they already had one upstairs. Fred said they could keep it downstairs..."so they could have full coverage." Priceless!!

haha! yeah i love that part, the whole ep is classic , another gem is when Lamont decides that since hes not getting married him and Fred should use the hotel room for a lil vacation, and there heading up the stairs and Fred says " Things must be getting better for us, and Lamont says "Yeah, why? Fred replys "Well me and your mama could never afford a honeymoon, and now look me and you going" hahahaaa

I love the line where he tells Aunt (Witch) Hazel that if he hit her, "Her lips would get to the hospital before the ambulance !"
This whole episode is a riot, especially the parts that TV Land chops out, like in the beginning where Fred asks the taxi cab company if it is a "white cab company" and then he tells them that "you don't have to stop, just slow down and we'll jump in". Obviously they were scared to come to Watts because of the riots in 1965. Of course they also cut out a scene in the church with the "N-Word" but I don't want to get started on that again.

My all time favorite episode, I have always compared Sanford & Son with Amos & Andy. The shows have so many similarities & Redd Foxx was such a huge fan of Amos & Andy that he asked the producers to hire Alvin Childress (Amos & Reverened Trimble) & Lillian Randolph (Madame Queen & Aunt Hazel) to appear on the show.

I felt sorry for Lamont when his fiancee Crystal, dumped him at the alter:( :( and her uppity family thinking that their daughter was tood good to marry a junkman's son:(
