Well, I've FINALLY gotten around to watching last week's episode where John Ritter guests as the returning Stuart Davenport.

There are some people who think that John is hilarious, and there are other people who can't STAND the guy, but I think that he did an excellent job as Stuart. He really fit in with the "Wings" cast and format, and gave us a good helping of that Ritter style of physical comedy.

Stuart was sleazy and obnoxious, but he was also funny, and he had great on-screen chemistry with the other characters...especially Casey (well, THAT'S certainly understandable).

Just one more case of a famous guest star actually contributing to a "WINGS" episode instead of being a "showbiz" distraction...."WINGS" made the BEST use of guest stars!

I always thought John Ritter was very talented with physical comedy and he did fit perfectly into the Stuart role. I already mentioned this in the other thread, but his chemistry with Amy was obvious.

I've always liked John Ritter He's not one of my favorite actors, though. I have tried to watch his show, 8 Rules... . I heard it was good, it was O.K., I just didn't think it was laugh out loud funny, like I do with other shows, i.e.Wings!!

I love John Ritter, he's the greatest. I crack up whenever I used to watch Three's Co. IMO he was the best part of the series.

Yes he had great chemistry with Amy, which is rare because alot of real life couples just don't have that connection onscreen.
