Starting January 22nd, for some reason Nick at Nite is going all the way to Episode 61! The night before that (Sunday the 21st at 1:30AM E/P) they will show Episode 39. So I guess the entire 3rd Season will be skipped!

Aw man, I was dying to see that season!
Does anyone know Columbia House's e-mail address. As soon as I find it I'm gonna ask them to put the series on tape.

Actually on the 23rd they are showing Episode #41. So maybe they are not skipping Season #3.

i remember during the marathon (the 2nd time they played it) they skipped from like the 4th season to the 6th one (or something) for one episode, then back again. i don't know why, but i doubt they're gonnna skip all of the 3rd season. and "green eyed monster" (from the 3rd season) is on the day after the 61st episode, so they probably put that later episode as a break, or by mistake or something. we have to keep in mind that it's N@N...they're not known for their great scheduling techniques. lol. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Just keep checking that site! Let's see if they will skip Season 3! It updates 9:30PM/ET every day when FOL is on!

There also might be some special N@N special running where their showing episodes of shows all of the same theme that night which is why they might be skipping to that episode and then going back to season 3.

they better not skip, but i dont think they will...early i posted that i love season three...well i love like the few episods i saw from, i really started watching the facts of life during season 4 and i saw a couple episodes form season 3! also i read there seasons ratings some where and it said that season 3 **i think** was the best rated season(or second best) of fol and it would be preety stupid of nAn to skip, but then again they do some preety stupid things...so u never know with nAn!

i don't think so cause season 3 was critical. besides they're done with season 2 by the end of this week. plus n-a-n has not posted any offical schedule. other sources can be wrong from time to time.

MY GOD, they showed the episode of All in the Family where Archie almosts becomes a member of the KKK. And Archie's one of the most beloved characters on television. So, it's okay for Archie, but not for Blair's grandfather? And I guess it's okay if they show Edith getting over a near-rape but NO, NOT NATALIE!! And OF COURSE Mr. Roper can grow a marijuana plant but Eastland girls or bottle-cappers do dope? NEVER! And teenagers all over the world can commit suicide but N@N can't play episodes that will help them! Gee, N@N sure is FAIR!

Obsolete.... Before... nick at nite said they would probably skip episodes that they showed the first run and will show episodes that they DIDN'T Show in the second run... the only reason that Dope was skipped is becuase it isn't good to show one of the facts of life girls fu*cked up on drugs! I mean yes you see it in other shows... but facts of life is a very "perfect" show... so that is why they probably will NEVER show Dope or the one where natalie has sex... but the other episodes they skipped liek nat's dad having an affair... or blair's sister (Eve Plumb) comes to visit... or when the girls take mrs. garrett to a strip club... they are skipping episodes that they showed the first time around and will show ones that they didn't air the first time around... so please... spare me and stop complaining... yes it's a pain in the ass... but HEY at least we GET facts of life!! Sarah Lynn, I agree with you; we ARE lucky to be able to watch FOL at all. But if you'll take a look at the schedule you'll notice that N@N is still skipping the episodes they skipped before (Other than Dope, there's Breaking Point and Fear Strikes Back). Maybe they will show the others like Men For All Seasons and the one with the male strip club. But I think for the most part they'll be skipping more episodes the longer the series is on N@N.

This is in defense of Obsoleteman, and a response to FOL85mrsgandnat. I salute your patriotism in supporting the USA, but I'm afraid I must disagree. Who ever told you america was a land of equal opportunity and freedom has over dosed on apple pie. Don't get me wrong, america is the greatest country in the world today, but we still have a long way to go before we're what the media makes us out to be. Try reading some Ray Bradbury or Huxley's "Brave New World", and mabye you'll understand the direction we are headed in more clearly. Editing, scraping, clipping, cutting, every peice of objectionable material ends up destroying society. To take a way these things takes away a shows character. Soon FOL will watch like Brady Bunch, will watch like Wonder Years, will watch like Happy Days, which all ends up being like Barney. I enjoy the facts of life because it chalenges my thinking and makes me believe in a society where you can speak freely and live your own life as you see fit, without giving in to the will of oppressive agency's and corporations.

Now, Facts never was a "perfect" show. Blair was a snob, Jo was a tomboy, Natalie was the fat chick (mass opinion, not mine), and Tootie was the token black kid. In fact, the reason it's called "The Facts of Life" is because the show deals with, what else, the facts of life! However, on Nick at Nite, we don't get to see the facts of life... we get sanitized, G Rated versions suitiable for 3 year olds with little to none of the controversy and thought provoking situations which made the show a classic.

Plus, Nick at Nite's hypocricy is selective and very angering. Last night, we got to see Three's Company's marijuana episode, which also included a drunken Jack. However, no Dope for Facts fans (or L&S fans...). Plus, Three's Company and the promiscuity of it's main characters (not to mention the innuendo and Suzanne Sommers rampant bouncing http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif ), yet The First Time is too offensive to be aired shows that Nick is being unfairly selective with what it airs.

Yes, they may be showing the series, but it's a fundamentally raped version of what was intended to be aired. It's pointless censorship, and I really hate censorship of any kind.

And it's better I not get into the USA vs Everyone else debate, because I say Amsterdam is a way better place to live. Marijuana and most other drugs are legal, crime rate is low, little violence, nudity on television, and people are just mellower. But that's just my opinion.
