In the 'Play it Again, Woody' episode, Arvid and Lori go to the prom together. In far away shots you can see Dennis and some light haired girl, who I don't think is on the show, dance and get close with one another. But in close ups during the same slow song, you see Dennis dance with Maria! Please! Would somebody please tell me that they see this, too, so I know I am not crazy?!

Hmm. That's even weirder than Sarah having two dates to that dance! (With Janice having a bedtime and Arvid being with Lori, there would've been an even number of IHP kids to date one another!) Eric and Simone...Dennis and Maria...so why did Sarah dance with Alan one minute and Jawaharlal the next? And Jawaharlal was MIA until Dr. Samuels and Ms. Meara announced Prom King and Queen! (I am overthinking everything again...aren't I?)
HOTC does have its editing inconsistencies. I have this one on tape...I'll check it out when I get the chance!
(PS: I was trying to e-mail you the HOTC pics but my e-mail is slow today and I have a meeting to get to now. I'll try again tomorrow! TTYL!)

Charlie and Arvid unexpectedly bump into each other at the movies...where a Woody Allen marathon is going on. They reflect on their love problems around prom time. The class bribed Lori into going out with Arvid (they promised to do her homework for her), and Charlie was dating a young teacher. Regardless of the fact that Lori only agreed to go out with Arvid to make her on-again, off-again boyf Barry jealous, Arvid would still love to go to the prom with her. Charlie and Melissa (the teacher he's dating), have difficulties because Charlie can't see past their age difference. At the prom, Arvid wants to tell Lori he loves her, but she ignores him as she's declared Prom Queen and Barry Prom King. However, when she's supposed to dance with Barry, she says she'd rather dance with Arvid. Everyone is cheering them on, but Arvid tells Lori that since she's really meant for Barry, she should be with him. Charlie decides that he wants to stay with Melissa, but in the end, she decides to quit teaching (a decision in which she was struggling with in this ep), and explore Rome, and discover what is out there.
BTW: The prom has a "Woody Allen" theme.
