Me, I put my favorite CD's at the top of the rack and my least favorites on the bottom. I find it easier and faster to find my favorites that way.

My CD rack is just randomly thrown together w/ my CD cases, but i have all my CD's in a CD holder thingy and thats organized alphabetically by last name/band name.

mine is in a certain order.Looking at it no one would know the order but I SURE DO!

Organize my CDs? Well they are in a pile, but Martina is always on the top. :)

I have mine in alphabetical order by the artists name. Ehh my friends seem to think I have OCD. Hmmm...no.

I arrange them alphabetically by the artist name. I seldom listen to them anymore though. They just sit there collecting dust.

Mine aren't arranged at all. They are in this little rack, but none are in order.:lol:

i have a cd rack but most of my cds are laying in the floor beside my bed so they arent organized in any way.

The ones i listen to the most at the top, and the others go below them.

I used to be very picky about the order my CD's were listed, but now, I really don't care.

This is how I use to organize them:

-By Label
-Once sorted by label I will group them by artist
-Once in artists, I group them by release date

I put my favorite artists first, in the most prominent position.

After that they are basically in alpha order by the artist's name, but bunched by type of artist. For example: female singers, male singers, groups, soundtracks, etc.

I don't use a CD rack anymore, because I have too many CDs. Instead, I have a CD shelf. I organize them alphabetically by artist, then by each artist's album in chronological order. I keep my Super Audio CDs and DVD Audios separate from my CDs, though, but I organize them the same as my CDs.

They usedta be in alphabetical order, but I slowly stopped caring and just whenever I pulled out a cd I'd just put the case wherever I felt like.

Mine is just in a pile

I dunno, I just group them by artist...sorta.

I rarely listen to my CD's anymore, so the majority of them are in a drawer. They're not organized at all.

I have tons in a pile and then I have most of my favorites in a CD binder thing. I'll need to organize them though cause the bottom of my stereo stand is getting messy! I have old audio tapes down there too. :lol: Like MC Hammer...and geesh I'm just gonna have to clean it.

I only have Play CDs in my room, so i don't have any order. Well actually i do, buy release date :D. Most recent on top.

My other CDs i don't care about anymore.

Usually by artist and/or genre.

Mine are in the order that I got them so the newer ones are closer to one side and my old ones like Mickey Unwrapped and Spice Girls are closer to the other side heheh.

I dont have ANY CDs.... But I have cassettes,8 tracks and VHS tapes and I try to keep them organised.... (They arent in any order though)
