I've heard the theme that someone is hurt because his posts aren't answered quite a few times here, but I think that 99% of the time, it is not because the other members think ill of that person. A lot of posts just don't call for much of a reply.

Yeah, all the drama. This place is starting to suck. You have people who start threads saying, "WAAH WAAH! I HATE YOU ALL! WAAH WAAH! I'M LEAVING FOREVER!" but they don't leave and they're like, "Oh, I changed my mind, I'm not leaving now." Then comes a lame ass apology thread. It's so stupid. This s.h.i.t is getting annoying. They just do it for attention.

I feel it is important to let the people of th eboard know when you will be unable to come on again for any length of time. There are many members who I really enjoyed talking with who have just disappeared with no word. It makes me worry about their health. Yes, it's far more likely that they just got caught up in their lives ad didn't tell anyone. But something awful could have happened and I want to know!


But you're right, there have been more childish goodbyes lately. They can be annoying but they can be just as easy to ignore.

Agreed. I fit into the category of leaving and not posting some big ass thread about it. I left before for a few months and I just left, a lot of people just leave w/o posting some big thread about it.

And about posts that don't get answers, I'll admit up front that I'm not much of a post starter, unless I'm on Batman and TZ board. So I guess I really can't mention the posts I do make on there. But I've went to boards and someone will have a post that I just don't know about it and that's my main excuse. I don't care who the person is, unless the person is a major jerk, I prob. won't reply in that case. But for the most part I like the majority of people on here, so refer to excuse one. It's nothing bad. I mean we aren't ignoring or anything (excuse 1). That's how it just works here. Some posts will get a ton of replies, some will get a few, others won't get any at all. It's pretty basic.

same here- i left for several months a couple years ago- dont think i posted anything when i left or came back.

When I was reading this I thought you were really leaving. I would just email or PM one of you to say I'm leaving, or I've left, and that would be it. I hate it when people post those threads- it's like the best artist in class saying there work isn't good, and everyone tells them it is- it's just a sympathy seeking, ego-boost.
Besides- why would anyone wanna leave? Some of, ok a good ammount of my posts sometimes get no reply- but still, I can find answers elsewhere- and I dn't really get affected that much by it.

If you're going to leave then leave, not for an hour or a day leave permanatly. What irks me is some of the other members that beg on their hands and knees for them to stay. :crazy: that's all they want is pity, which they won't get from me.

Yes, it's a pain in the rear and I hope it slows to a hault. But! This board is full of teenagers. Teenagers are drama queens and kings. They can't help it. Life is unfoldng at such a rapid rate, they are discovering who they are and who they wish they were and bladabladiblah. It's a wild and crazy stage of life. It's not that big of deal that one of you all just has to throw caution to the wind and go crazy once in awhile and post one of those nutty 'goodbye, boohoo, poor mad me, threads.
