I'm surprised that AAOT didn't post this already.

wow... Guess perhaps they are serious... I know many are taking it seriously and file sharing has dropped some...

Could it be that any single user of kazaa or any file sharing programmes could be targeted- or was the university with only 8 songs targeted because it's a university- therefore a high profile place- easy to narrow down suspects. OR could it be me or you or you- or you over in the corner, could be targeted? I hope not- I didn't think I'd ever see the day when copyright laws would ever come into practise. I don't really see the point in suing many people- not too many people like downloading films online, cos most people with a broadband connection are businesspersons who have better things to do than download jackass the movie. Besiides- lots of people I know still download mp3's but buy the cds- it's nice to have the cover, song words or special enchanced features on a music cd. Maybe if the music industry put more features on music cd's prices would go back up. I think they're going OTT

Well I know some colleges don't even let the students have music download program things on their computers...

Question. I deleted Kazaa Lite as soon as I heard they were gonna do this...can they still sue me? Like can people still download from me? Or am I safe now?

They are going to get the names be searching for songs and seeing who is offering them to download... As long as you have no file sharing programs then you are not sharing any files..

Eeep. I download songs but don't let people download them from me. Therefore I don't share my music... can they still get me?
