Do you sunburn or tan right away?
If you burn do you peel or does it turn into a tan?
I got burnt in Florida and it faded down to a light tan, no peeling.
I got burnt (even using sunscreen) at a local swimming hole here on Thursday and I'm peeling! I dont know what makes it different and why I dont just have normal tanning skin but I was just wondering about everyone else :)

When I go to the beach I wear sunscreen but it usually washes off in the water, despite the fact it's supposed to be waterproof...anyway, it fades to a tan and sometimes peels.

One of my friends came back from Spring Break a couple weeks ago and had burned his back to the core, he has real light skin and I am afraid it may come back to haunt him in the future.

I am blessed with Olive Skin because both my parents are European,so I tan.But I do sunburnt on my face for some reason-I think its because the skin is way more sensitive there.
When I do get sunburnt,I use Aloe Vera gel.Very soothing :)

Burn. Then burn again. Then burn some more. I'm as pale as they get I think.

I burn, then tan, but not before peeling.
One time, I spent 4 hours at the beach with no protection, didn't realize how burnt I was until I got home. Then the next week was excruciating!!!

I have olive skin too, light olive skin, but olive skin nonetheless. I rarely burn. In Florida I did pretty badly, though. That never happened before. Florida sun must be poison.

I get a sun burn every single summer :(
My worst sun burn was in the summer of 2003. I was swimming near the sand dunes for 6 hours with my cousins and sisters and only put a little sunscreen on.....I got bad bad bad sunburns EVERYWHERE on my body and it hurt to move, touch it, and sleep. :(
