It's so sad he's on tv for committing suicide instead of his career. Anyone know what they said about him on there & showed on there. Did they show any pics of him on it? I'd love to see this...
Pitooey 07-20-2003, 12:23 AM I did see some
of the program but, I missed
Freddie on it.Although I love
Freddie with all my heart
and soul he did shock alot
of people with his death. :(
Karen64 07-21-2003, 08:12 AM Yeah, wouldn't it be great if he was on that program for something else, so he could be here to watch the show!
Danisel331 07-25-2003, 03:42 AM That's right! This show comes on again.:)
It will be the whole list over the week next week. Every day @ 3:00 pm central time on the E! channel. I saw the Freddie part, It's not all that bad, but it's not all that great either. I guess at least he was mentioned in the list.
Luckymama58 07-26-2003, 06:39 PM E! was running the whole countdown today and I watched it. The segment on Freddie was fair, but they only showed the clips from the E! True Hollywood Story on his life and death. Many of the other tragic deaths on the list ellicited comments from todays stars and I would have liked to hear their take on this, but sadly, E! chose not to interview anyone about Freddie. I think I was the most distressed by the silence of George Lopez. He commented on many others, but not on the person he is proported to admire..... I don't blame George so much as the producers of the special. Maybe they did interview him, but in the interest of time, that footage could have been cut. I dunno. It would have been nice to see some current impact Freddie's life and death had on people alive today.
:( :crying:
I would love to have that on tape, did anyone tape it?
Luckymama58 07-26-2003, 06:55 PM Joy, you didn't miss much and it isn't worth having on tape. If you have the E! special, it was just short clips from that show. I wanted to hear interviews from some of todays stars about the tragedy or about Freddie's life and career, but they didn't air any, like they did with most of the other moments. Even in death, he is forgotten by the people today. :( The clip was only about 1 or 2 minutes or so in length
what a sad disapointment but thanks for the heads up.
Cheryl Harrell 07-27-2003, 03:47 AM When will Freddies episode be shown? Which day? Does anyone know? I'd love to see it & would love to find some one with cable tv that would let me watch it..
Danisel331 07-27-2003, 05:37 AM Well Ms Cheryl, this is just my estimate, but I think it will be Thursday. Hope that helps you out.
I know the little part they showed was a bit of a disappointment, but well, at least he's there. I know of several people who are only watching the show for one reason or another, so maybe they will learn something if they watch the part about him. A Longshot, but still a chance. It would have been nice though if they had shown him in a better light.
Cheryl Harrell 07-27-2003, 10:54 AM Thanks for the info! Now I have an idea as to when to tune in...
Cheryl Harrell 07-31-2003, 04:39 PM Anyone know when this is gonna be on again? I had hoped to get Mikes cousin to tape this for us so we could see it but they don't have any blank tapes left & like an idiot we didn't think to give them any to tape it on...
Cheryl Harrell 10-24-2003, 03:48 PM 101 Most Shocking Moments in Entertainment will be on E! again this Sunday from noon to 5 pm...
