I have never seen (One Day at a Time) and only a little bit of (Maude) since it was not in Syndication too often. Looking forward to seeing both of these sitcoms one day.

I'd also like to see the show Maude. I wish TVLAND would air it sometime.

I'd like to see some "Maude" episodes. And since "Archie Bunker's Place" STARTED in the 70's (Didn't it?), that too.

The New Dick Van Dyke Show with Hope Lange as Van Dyke's wife. That show was ahead of its times. Given that show was in the early 70s here were some of the things they dealt with:

Late In Life Pregnancy. Hope Lange's character became pregnant during the show and their youngest was 9 and the oldest was 17. Back then TV did not go there with that and not too much was heard of people past 40 having babies. That was the opening for the show in Episode 1 - Off and Running.
Interracial Dating. That was done tastefully when their son came home from school for the holidays and invited a black female he was seeing. That was episode 5 - Mid-term Dinner


The show had a lot of potential especially with the first cast. Fannie Flagg was great as well as Marty Brill (his character rubbed me the wrong way) and Nancy Dussault (she was a hottie on that show with the flip hairdue and powerful singing voice of hers). Even though the ratings weren't at their best the shows were entertaining ther ratings just weren't there. The third season with them going to Hollywood wiping out the entire supporting cast. The new cast for the Hollywood episodes were horrible and they did not click.

I really like Bea Arthur, but I've never seen Maude and would really like to.

TV LAND used to show "Maude". I agree, I wish they'd bring it back.
And TNN used to show "Alice".

I started watching "Alice" on TNN in Summer 2000, when it aired Monday-Friday at 5:00 and 5:30PM (central). Then they moved it to 2:30PM, following "The Real McCoys" and coming right before "Dallas," then "Cagney & Lacey." Then the nail was in the coffin when they moved it to 9:30AM. I remeber the first dayit didn't air: January 22, 2001. But it was alright I guess, since they replaced it with a morning of classic shows.

The 70s CBS sitcoms I want to see are "Phyllis," and since I haven't seen it in ages, "Rhoda."

I've pretty much seen everything everyone else has listed, thanks to TVLand.:)
