I was just looking at this year's Emmy nominees and I was completely floored when I saw the Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series list. I expected to see such names as Ray Romano and Matt LeBlanc there but I could not believe that John Ritter was left out. Anyone who watches "8 Simple Rules" on a regular basis has to agree that John Ritter's acting is an important part of why the series is a hit after its first season. I was absolutely positive that it was worthy of an Emmy nomination that I figured that he had it locked up, but I was wrong and it looks like the Emmy voters were wrong as well. And who do you think made it instead? Bernie Mac! Come on people, Bernie Mac?? He can't act his way out of a paper bag! His show is awful!

As to who I think should win, I'll just say this: If anyone other than Ray Romano wins, then, for me at least, this will go down as the biggest miscarriage of justice on a TV awards show since Norah Jones beat out Avril Lavigne for the 2003 Best New Artist Grammy. I still haven't figured that one out at all! Talk about making a big stink!
