Down here in L.A a lot of petitions have been going down to save Jo so she won't be killed in the reunion and apear in it and on a lot of petitions on websites a have my own petition that nancy actually sees my mom who is a stylist makeup artist and hair stylist worked on the set of facts of life from 1979-1988( i am so happy that she does this or i would never be anywhere near nancy) My mom also did some things on the division so i gave my mom a petition to give to nancy and she did maybe if you all right comments with only your first names signed on the bottom maybe she'll decide to do the reunion so far she like the comments!!! Shorty: I think i remember you sorry for thinking you were a lier. I won't judge 'till i know.

Nancy,
You can't let Jo die. Where would Blair be with out anyone to fight with? I'm sure Lisa, Kim, and Mindy want you to do the reunion. Look, I know Blair was probably always th most popular, and I am a big Blair fan, but she would be no where with out you. You guys are best friends. You were fo nine years. Please don't let Jo die, it would be to sad to not have the Bronx girl!! Email me at EastlandToughGal@aol.com

Nancy,

Please don't let Jo die in the reunion movie. I realize you must have a lot going on, but isn't there some way you could take some time off to do this movie? I know for a fact that many people would be devastated if Jo died. Please Nancy, This is so important to so many people. I know it would mean a lot to me.

Nancy McKeon,

It really means a lot to many people that you appear in the reunion movie, or at least make it so they don't kill off Jo Polniaczek. She's the main reason many people watched the show, and a source of inspiration and a role model to many others. Myself included.

To realize the effect of your character, just think about the letter you got from the person who was thinking about commiting suicide. Afer seeing the Facts of Life episode that covered that topic, that person realized that there were reasons to live. It had that much of an effect.I don't believe actors and actresses realize what an effect they have on the fans.

If you're worried about the type-casting of everyone always thinking of you as "Jo", you have to realize that no matter what you do to separate yourself from the Facts of Life, You will always be Jo to many people. But we are not so one-way minded as to think of you ONLY as Jo.We realize that Nancy McKeon and Jo are not one and the same. And as much as we love Jo, we also love Nancy McKeon; Terrific Actress and Source of Inspiration.

I just recently saw The Division, and I thought you did a wonderful job portraying Jinny Exstead's character.

In fact, getting back to the whole type-casting problem, if you were to do a poll of everyone who tuned into the premiere episode and asked them all why they watched, I think you'd be surprised at how many of them tuned in because "that wonderful actress who played Jo on the Facts of Life" was going to be in it. Having no other idea of what the show was about, a lot of people tuned in merely because YOU, Nancy McKeon, were going to be portraying one of the characters. Not just because you were Jo, but because you are such a great actress.

And many of us were first introduced to you as Jo Polniaczek. I know I was. I had seen only one or two episodes (first season, I later realized) of The Facts Of Life on Nick At Night, and they were so-so, but when I happened to catch my first episode with Jo Polniaczek in it, I was hooked. Here was a character I could relate to. Someone I could look up to.

And since I became such a fan of the Facts of Life and of you, Nancy McKeon, it has prompted me to see other things you were in. Your Movies, the TV shows you were in, the one you're in now.... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I think all of us fans realize that you have moved on from The Facts of Life, and I doubt that any of us really has a problem with that. Variety is the spice of life, and it's GREAT getting to see you portray all sorts of characters. It shows how diverse you are as an actress. But just because a show ends, it does not mean that the characters no longer exists. Every character you have ever played is kept alive by the fans who loved them and how you brought them to life. Jo Polniaczek is no different, but if she is killed in this reunion movie they are making, it will not only be a stupid move by the producers, directors and everyone involved (I know for fact that I will not see it if they're going to kill Jo), but it also will jade the entire series. It would never be the same, watching the episodes, knowing that Jo dies.

Killing Jo in the reunion movie doesn't just kill off the best character, but it kills off that little bit of Jo everyone who watched the Facts of Life took away with them when the series ended.

If you decide not to appear in the reunion movie and the script is made so that the character Jo isn't able to make it to the reunion for some reason, we will all be sad that you weren't in it, but we will understand and respect your reasons.

But if Jo is killed off, That is something that is irreversible, and I can't imagine why anyone would ever of their own violition let it happen.

Nancy McKeon, if there is ANYTHING you can do to stop them from killing Jo Polniaczek, please do so. I speak for all of your (and Jo's) fans when I say this.

I hope that something in what I have said to you strikes a chord, and I truly hope that if you can, you stop them from killing Jo Polniaczek.

I will continue to eagerly watch for new episodes of The Division with you in it, and any movies you appear in, etc..

I also wish you the best in all of your endeavors, and wish to thank you for being such a great role model to myself and many others as Jo Polniaczek, and as yourself. You are truly an inspiration as an actress and as a person.

I think that you are a great actress and I have liked you in everything that you have done. I also agree with the others about not letting Jo die if there is anything in your power to stop it. Thanks

If you do read this,Ms.McKeon;

Jo was the most beloved on FOL and she really made the show for me and many other viewers.I do not feel there should even be a reunion movie if it cannot have everyone. Some shows are better off left to syndicated rerun heaven.By the way, good luck in your new series.

Nancy,

Please be in the reunion. I know you have a lot of other stuff going on right now, but you would be causing psychological damage to all the shows, and your, fans by not being in the reunion.

Nancy,
You are the greatest. You are the main reason why I watch the Facts of life. If Jo is not in the reunion and if she dies. I most likely won't watch it. Please Save Jo!

Nancy,
I'm probably your biggest fan. I'm 14 and The Facts if Life help me out in my teen years. Your the whole reason I watch The Facts of Life! You are a wonderful actress, but you can't let Jo die! She's the main character of the show! Jo know's her motorcycle to well to get killed. She's had it since she was 14, as you already know. I really hope you decide to do the reunion movie. It just wouldn't be right without you. You know your fans had to care alot about you to ask you to please do the reunion movie. I know you have a busy schedule with The Division and everything, but can't you take a little time to do the movie? I mean, after all, The Facts of Life is the show that put you on your career to stardom. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

Jo: Well, I'm not gonna stand around playin' stupid guessing games. Who is it?!
Pippa: Franni!
Jo: Ya see, it's just Franni. Who the hell is Franni?

Andy: Merry Christmas!
Tootie: Do you know what day it is?
Jo: Yeah, it's the day I lost all feeling in my neck. (Looks at Andy) Who are you?
Andy: Hohoho!
Jo: Awww. That's sweet. Go 'way.

Mrs. G: Natalie, why don's you show Jo a better place to park her bike.
Jo: Why don't I just park it on Blair's face?!
Natalie: She's a breath of fresh air, isn't she?

Blair: She must think we're into nostalgia, she's still wearing flared jeans.
Jo: Uh, in a minute your gonna be wearin' flared teeth.
