I have a question about an episode of the new class where Zack,Lisa and Slater were guest stars. I think it's called "Goodbye Bayside." If I'm not getting confused, Zack was married to Kelly by this time. I was just wondering if Zack gave an explanation of why Kelly wasn't with him. I also wonder if he hit on any of the high school girls in this episode considering that he chased so many girls throughout the show. I'm sorry if this is a weird or stupid question. I'm just curious. Thanks in advance for any help.

He didn't explain. And he didn't hit on anyone, he just said "hi" to Screech and Belding.

I remember watching this episode when it originally aired, and I vaguely remember Slater asking Zack how married life was, or something to the extent of 'how's the missus?'. I don't remember what he said, but I do know that Kelly was mentioned. It wasn't said why she wasn't there though...

I don't believe Zack responded to that question at all, just laughed. (Don't ask me how I remember that...)

I know exactly which episode you're talking about, Sara. The episode is entitled "Goodbye Bayside, Part 2," and it aired as the conclusion of the two-part season two finale of Saved By The Bell: The New Class in December of '94, and Mark-Paul Gossalaar, Mario Lopez, and Lark Voorhies all appeared (as Zack, Slater, and Lisa, respectively) in brief cameos near the end of the episode. Slater did indeed mention Kelly--who had tied the knot with Zack in the Wedding In Las Vegas made-for-TV film two months earlier--by casually asking Zack, "So how's the missus?" during their encounter, and Zach replied, "Good."

As for Kelly's absence, Tiffani Thiessen was already co-starring on Beverly Hills, 90210; it would've been virtually impossible for Tiffani to appear with Mark-Paul, Mario, and Lark in that aforementioned episode...ditto for Elizabeth Berkley, who was filming the infamous box office stinker Showgirls around that same time.

And I seriously doubt Zack would've even attempted to hit on any of the three main female characters on SBTB: The New Class (Megan Jones, Rachel Myers, and Lindsay Warner), considering that he was already married to Kelly by that point, as well as the fact that Megan, Rachel, and Lindsay were all underage and still in high school.

Enjoy the remainder of your Saturday, as well as the rest of your Turkey Day weekend, Sara!

You noticed that Zack, guest-appearing in "Goodbye Bayside (Part 2)" episode, was no longer acting like a supremacist on Screech anymore. He might have become a brand new father, right after his wife, Kelly, who didn't appear at all, gave birth to children.

Interesting observation, irehtman. Zack's happy-go-lucky, devil-may-care demeanor had largely dissipated after he and Kelly both tied the knot in Vegas two months earlier. He had finally matured from his irresponsible teen/tween years and transitioned into a respectable and responsible young adult once he, Slater, and Lisa all returned to Bayside to prevent its demolition by ruthless real estate developer J. Walter McMillian.

You're welcome, but you forgot that both Lisa and Slater are still permanently supremacists and Belding is growing to become another supremacist on Screech along the way.
