Rhino Home Video has finally announced that October 14, 2003 is a tentative release date for the DVD set of The Monkees' second season.

(To coin a formerly popular phrase) Groovy! Some of my favourite episodes of The Monkees are from the second season!

So, mark thy calendars, save up them pennies, and stay posted! Further details as events warrant!!!

I prefer the Second Season episodes over the First Season episodes. I can't wait to buy them, if they the great special features again. A few of my second season favorites:

I also hope Mike Nesmith does more commentary. His was the most ineresting of all the others. And I hope that Micky participates this time, because in the "Daydream Believers" movie, Micky was very funny.
