Does anyone remember a show from around '84-'87 about new wave-ish teenagers or 20 somethings that focused on the early 80's club scene? The only thing I remeber is one of the character's worked in a movie theater, and there was one episode were they stood in line outside a club for a really long time. I think it was one of those show that only lasted 5 episodes or something. My vague memory of this program has been driving me crazy and I must find out what it was called.

Was the name of the show "Dreams", by any chance? I never watched this show. But, I remember in 1984, that several girls in my class in the eighth grade were excited about the show.

Does not sound familiar to me. There was california dreams but that was in the 90's and is not what you describe. I could not find anything.
