Wahoo I heard that AI is up for an emmy while watching GDL today!! They talked to Clay on the phone. And then later Ruben called (not sure why). They asked Ruben if Clay was going to be his date at the Emmys :lol:

I also just heard that Randy had the gastric-bypass surgery done recently. Thats gonna be wierd if he comes back the size of Simon :eek:

I was incorrect this was not a new category, they have had it for a while but presented the award during the Technical Emmy awards, but this year they are presenting it in the live telecast.

Is it nominated just for one? Cuz on the Idol Site.. it says
"Congratulations to everyone at American Idol for their five 2003 Emmy Nominations!"
