I do not feel Klugman contributed much behind the camera when The Odd Couple was on primetime. But in 1976 when he got Quincy he made sure the scripts were always very high quality on that show. I'm glad Klugman did not choose to make Quincy realistic by making it hard to see and hear clearly what was going on like they did on the David Jaansen(sp?) 70's show Harry O.
