Do You Think Of SO Members Like You Do Your Real Life Pals? I Def. Do. I Spend ALOT More Time With Them Than I Do My Friends In Real Life lol I Talk With Ravey, Chad & Jack And Other Friends All The Time, I Am As Close To Them As My RL Friends Too :D What Do You Guys Think?

Yes my SO friends are my best friends, even though they all live far away from me. I dont have that many friends where I live to talk to so its nice to have close friends to talk to on here.

Yeah, I think of my friends of here at SO as my real friends, because that's what they are. Even though, I may not get to see them up close and personal, they are still fun to talk with and I'm so very glad to have met them and become friends with them. :)

I do, but always with the sad thought that I will probably never meet any of them face to face. In some ways it's nice to have these great friends, but in some ways it's kind of sad, and not entirely satisfying.

Some of my SO friends are my real life friends, but I love coming to talk to you guys on here every night. I'd go nuts without SO! :bighug:

Fortunately on my half, my best friend on SO actually is one of my life pals. Yep...

Anyway, yeah I think of a few people here as my life friends

I feel the same way.

Yeah my SO friends are my real friends. To me, they're just like the friends that I see everyday at school. It is kinda sad that I cant meet any of them face to face but they're just as good as any of my other friends, actually most of them are better than the friends that I see everyday. And they dont get on my nerves. I love all my SO friends. :hug:

Of course I do. Every person I talk to online I consider a real friend. I only see about 3 friends in real life now that school is done, so Im glad to have so much more friends online.:D :hug: I swear you guys know more stuff about me than my real friends!

I think it's very interesting that many people who are a bit shy in the real world are anything but shy and are very popular here. It seems like it's much easier to realize one's potential here.

I'm far, far from popular right now. Even though I have a lot of posts, most were made last spring when I was more popular...per se. When I started posting here, I had just moved to this God-forsaken town in the middle of nowhere, so I didn't know a soul. I just learned the wonders of the internet and starting talking to a lot of people here. That kind of made me think "I'm really pathetic if I don't talk to anyone offline while I have tons of people to talk to normally online." So I forced myself to talk to others, and now my offline friends totally outweigh my online friends. I hardly talk to anyone online now from here, besides the usual "Hi, what's new?" and "Well I've gotta go. Bye!" I don't regret it though. :D

I have offline friends, but I'm not close to them the way I am to my online friends. I can tell my online friends anything, and I don't feel that way with people I know in real life.

I consider my online friends, real friends. I don't have that many friends online tho.

I've made so many friends on these boards, and I'm gratefull for all of them :) What's so great about being online is that when I went away to do study abroad, I didn't have to say goodbye - you all came with me! :wave: Luv ya all! :wave:

Yep,I sure do consider my SO friends,my real friends. :)

It's hard sometimes but I feel at home here,SO people are kool well...97% of them:D

Yeah, my SO friends are a lot cooler than people I know offline.

Oh...and when I did get really close to someone, they betrayed me. I don't want to be betrayed anymore.

I've had 4 best friends since the 2nd or 3rd grade, and we seem to have everything balanced out perfectly. No one feels left out or anything. It's awesome.
