Actually, the name is Irish. I don't know about Nancy's roots, but the name can be traced back to Ireland.

Nancy's Intimate Portrait said that her family was Irish-Catholic.

McKeon is Scottish Catholic.

I myself am of Irish descent, and the name McKeon is from Ulster in Northern Ireland. It acutally is an Americanized name, and there are several different original spellings, like MacKeown and McKean. :wave:
