I'm sorry to say, but a reunion movie at this point is not worth it. The fact that Nancy McKeon AND Kim Fields don't want to do the reunion is a big reason in it self NOT to do it. A 'Facts of Life' reunion without Jo and Tootie?!? I know what some of you might say, " Bring in other actresses ". But no one can play Jo and Tootie as well as those two actresses. Especially after what Nancy McKeon said in People Magazine, I find the odds for a happy reunion we all want is very, very slim.
If the reunion does happen(with Jo's death, cameo, whatever), i'm just gonna have to hold my breath. But I guess we'll have to see what happens...
So what do you think the odds are?

I don't know. It just doesn't seem to be coming into fruition. I mean it's mean in the works for a while. CBS keeps regesting scripts. And Nancy and Kim dont want to appear in it. I think Nancy will give a little cameo in a coffin if this does come out and Kim's character (Tootie) will probably be played by another character. I don't know. Kim looks like Tione "T-Boz" Watkins from the group "TLC". If she can act, that would be pretty good replacement. But as you say, no one can replace any of the characters. =/. I think this will come out eventually but it wont be as good as we hoped.

EDNA'S EDIBLES PARADE FLOAT...

Tootie: "We'll make grass out of spinach pasta."
Blair: "And I'll be the queen of the float!"
Jo: "Alright, and we'll make you out of sour dough."

Well, if the deal isn't finaly with a network yet, I have a feeling that no network in their right mind will accept the script if it has killing of a main character. It'd mean a very depressing show which will mean very depressing ratings.
