Lifetime Television orders another 22 episodes of The Division
(Variety) - Lifetime Television has ordered a 22-episode fourth season of police drama "The Division." Skein will continue to anchor femme-targeted cabler's Sunday-night lineup of original series.

"The Division" stars Bonnie Bedelia, Nancy McKeon, Lisa Vidal, Tracey Needham, Taraji P. Henson and Jon Hamm.

Deborah Joy LeVine exec produces the series, which concerns a group of San Francisco Police Dept. officers fighting crime while dealing with the ups and downs of their personal lives.

Produced by Viacom Prods. in association with Lifetime, "The Division" draws about 3 million viewers per week.

Hell, even the best show on t.v., CSI, doesn't even top out at 24 million. That's 24,000,000 vs. 289,000,000. That still leaves
265,000,000 people in America that doesn,t even watch CSI.

Beleive me, If everyone of the 289,000,000 people watched The Division or CSI or any other show only, all the other shows would be cancelled out in America. And Hollywood would also be bankrupt as well, and everyone else in hollywood would see the stars of the shows that caused it as greedy!!! Every show out there I think is pretty much evenly or nearly evenly even as far as veiwership goes.

Basic cable vs. regular antenna feed kind of works the same way that a toll road like the Pennsylvania Turnpike would work vs. the old Lincoln Highway.

You see, you pay for basic cable on a monthly basis, and you don't pay for regular antenna feed.

Plus these days due to the bad economy, people are just giving up on basic cable, period, in order to save money. People are just going cheep. Don't fret, Division fans, Shield fans, Monk fans, and fans of The Osbourns are feeling the same pinch as well.

I have a question though. Where did you come up with CSI is the best show out there? I guess it is a matter of opinion. Cause for me the best show out there is The Division. I haven't watched ABC, CBS, or NBC (only when Jay was on the show is the only time) for 2 years, and I don't miss it a bit.

Jeanie, As you see, they go by neilsen's ratings, and yes, on Basic Cable, the Division is still one of the best shows going, but as you can also see, CSI is not a cable show at all. New Eppisodes of CSI will always be on either ABC or CBS. I don't know which. But CSI as far as new eppisodes go will always be on the local antenna feed, so yes, all those cheap bums out there who can't afford cable at all will naturally be stuck with CSI as far as the best show goes. And there are a lot of lazy people out there that can't even afford cable. I know, because I pay an average of $65 per month just for basic cable alone. Bills pile up, ya know.

Wow do you even get internet with that 65? Cause I know someone who pays 80 and gets Internecable modem connection with the basic cable. Yeah I know all about Nielsen ratings and all that bull. I don't buy it cause it is the higher up's in this world that get that little black box. And I have found I like what the majority doesn't and what they do like I think stinks.

wow, that's a bunch of money for cable... I pay $40 a month for basic/expanded basic, meaning no digital or movie channels. Eventually I want to upgrade to digital though...... I need LMN and TVLAND!!!!!!!!!!!
