When I was in Savannah my friend and I met some great people from a Navy cruiser that was docked there for the week. We would like to email them and wonder how we can go about it. I don't know ANYONE in the military at all so I have no one to ask. We know their names, we know what boat they are on, etc, we just don't know how to contact them. I searched high and low on the net for a "generic address" like name@navy.net or something but no avail.

Help anyone!

They would probably have to email you first,whatever their station email code is thats where you can talk to them like mines is "Lewis, CTT3 (OS)" <LEWISJR@kennedy.navy.mil and that was in florida but I'm not stationed there anymore,and I don't know what more to tell you but if you have questions just ask:)

Well they were in Savannah Georgia 2 weeks ago on the Thomas S. Gates. I think they are in Louisiana right now and they are stationed in Mississippi. I'm so frustrated because I have all the information except a specific email! I was told that there was a basic email but that I just had to find it.

That's turning out to be a very frustrating process for me. :(

The USS. Thomas S. Gates is stationed at Pascagoula, Mississippi. The home page for the ship is :http://www.gates.navy.mil/

Try this first (last name, first initial, middle initial)@gates.navy.mil


If that doesn't work and if you know what division they are in you can email their division head and they can pass on the message to your friend with your email address. If you don't know what division they are in then just email the Master Chief, Dennis G. Harper at cmc@gates.navy.mil
