This has probably been asked before, if so I apologize, but have you guys ever written to anyone from the AITF cast? If so, did they respond? I wrote to Rob Reiner a couple years ago, and received a personally autographed photo. He even wrote my name down, so I knew it was authentic. I also wrote to Carroll O'Connor's wife Nancy shortly after he passed away, and received a very sweet response from her. I haven't written to Sally, Jean, or Norman Lear yet, but I'm thinking about it. Have you guys tried writing to anyone from the show?

I wrote to Carroll several years ago and got a signed photo of him wearing his "In the Heat of the Night" uniform, and I recently got a response from Jean Stapleton. I have not yet tried writing to Rob or Sally though.

Where do you get their addresses?

You got a response from Jean? My one friend wrote to her about 3 or 4 months ago and hasn't heard anything. How long was it after you wrote her, that you got a response? Oh, if anyone does know of an address for Norman Lear, please let me know too. Thanks! :)

I got them from a company named ACS. I found their address in a magazine a couple years ago. For $35.00 they offer you a list of over 13,000 celebrity adresses, it's really cool. You can also buy celebrity e-mail addresses, and all kinds of other stuff. I'll send you a PM and give you their address.
