OK, I watched the show when it originally aired, but now i am watching the re-runs on ABC family. I have watched some of the first episode's and some of the last episodes lately. I noticed that Brenden is in the first few seasons when everyone is younger. But then when they get older Brendan isnt on the show anymore. Like he was replaced with Rich. And Cody(i heard that he hit his girlfriend and i think he went to jail.)and Carol's sister and mom are no longer on the show. does any one know why this is?:confused:

Yeah, quite a few people popped off this show without any explanation. Cody was the only one who had an explained departure on the show... all though I forget what that explanation was. He came back on the show in the end as I remember.

One guy you didn't mention who was meant to take someone's place was, Flash, who was VERY short lived, definitely was taking Cody's place the time Cody wasn't on. Remember Flash? He sucked. Everyone thought he sucked, so he was canned after a few episodes.

Rich did seem to come in to replace missing people, and a quickly aging Lilly did the same for Brandon. She went from a baby to a little kid before Brandon officially left, but his camera time was definitely getting worse than it already had been. That's why the actor finally cut out--he was unhappy with his worsening camera time.

Carol's sister and mom were kicked off because they were basically viewed as unimportant characters. Remember how they would come on for a scene and crack jokes amongst eachother? That was originally their purpose (to crack jokes), but when Cody came on the same season, he became so successful, they kept him to be the funny man, and kicked the mom and sister off, who were not nearly as funny.--I remember reading this story some place.
