OK, we've done the music list and we spend the majority of the time talking about TV shows, but what are your top ten movies? You know, those movies that you can watch over and over and over again and not get tired of and sit there and recite the lines without missing a beat and for all you females, and maybe some males, cry at the same places no matter how many times you've seen it. I KNOW YOU GET THE POINT!!! I'll start it off, and it's not necessarily in any order.
1)Tootsie!!!
2)9 to 5
3)Auntie Mame
4)When Harry Met Sally
5)Sixteen Candles
6)Close Encounters of the Third Kind
7)The Color Purple
8)The Princess Bride
9)Braveheart
10)and my guilty pleasure-Pee-Wee's Big Adventure

In no order:

Memento
Sleepy Hollow
Fight Club
Saving Private Ryan
Apocalypse Now
Dr. Strangelove
American Graffiti
Casablanca
The Searchers
Miller's Crossing

I could easily triple this list in a heartbeat........it's hard to limit it to just 10.

AAAAH! THIS STUPID BOARD!!!! it timed out and erased my whole post!

Top 10 movies is hard because I like so many... ok. let me try to remember what i had listed the first time (in no particular order):

-Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi
-The Goonies
-Ferris Bueller's Day Off
-Grease
-Moulin Rouge
-Space Balls
-Demolition Man
-Office Space
-Monty Python And The Holy Grail
-Amelie

That list looks strange. There will probably be 10 more that I think of today that I love even more than all these. lol.

hey c5guy- I've been wanting to see Memento... I saw part of it once, and it looked really cool. and I haven't gotten around to seeing it all yet. I really should- I've heard that it's really good.

Yeah, I know, maybe only picking 10 would prove difficult for all of us. I mean I had a problem narrowing it down, too. There are a few more recent movies that I've just absolutely started to love-American Beauty, Election, Goldmember(that part at the beginning with Tom Cruise was too funny), and that I've already seen quite a few times.. I've also seen Trading Places & Fast Times at Ridgemont High so many times to even give an exact number.:) :D ;)

- Little Shop of Horrors
- Raising Arizona
- Overboard
- Regarding Henry
- Moonstruck

- Gone With the Wind
- The Princess Bride

Hi Krista! Memento is a movie that will make you dizzy trying to solve the mystery of the main character's past along side him. He makes a very eloquent statement at the end of the movie that each of our "identities" & place in society in our own minds are the trail of memories we have of ourselves leading up to that moment. I couldn't imagine how lost & frustrating it would feel to have memory loss or alzheimer's.

Everyone who makes a top 10 list should really see your favorites on DVD if you haven't already. It's so much more interesting to see all the extras they give you on a DVD such as outtakes & director's/actor's commentaries! I rarely if ever watch VHS anymore.

oh I love "While You Were Sleeping"! Such a cute movie! Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actresses, and I've seen almost all of her movies, but for some reason, I didn't put any of those movies in my top 10 list.. hmmm.... Oh wait- yes I did- "Demolition Man"! hahaha that's a funny movie. Sandra Bullock, Sylvester Stallone, and Wesley Snipes were the leads in that movie. hehe. I've seen it a million times and can practically recite it.
