I think Dee from "What's Happening!!", Danille Spencer, guest starred on the show as the kooky native broad who wanted to marry Gilligan.
Or maybe it was the girl who sanfg the theme song to "Moonraker".

The daughter was played by Mary Foran.

The girl who sang the theme song to "Moonraker" was Shirley Bassey.

Ah, the power of the internet, LOL.

You have no clue.
ZERO credibility, to quote the great Joey Buttafuco (makes zero sign with hand).

Danielle Spencer would have been a baby when this episode was filmed.

Excuse me, I have no credibility?

Please explain why you say I have no credibility when I gave you factual information.

I just got off a Yahoo message board where I've argued with a bunch of kooks who think our fearless leader can do no wrong. I come here to get away from the seriousness of our country's situations and maybe have a laugh, and I'm insulted. Thanks a lot!

People who know me here will tell you I am usually one of the nicest people in the world, but right now, I'm mildly livid!

Don't listen to him. People come to message boards, post absurd things for no reason, and then think they can do no wrong. I don't see the need - for these type of topics or the stupid fights they start.

There are a great many people on the SO boards who piss me off immensely - they think they're so smart and just beat things to death, starting unecessary fights in the first place. It's hard to ignore. And I get insanely frustrated.

Okay, I'm done. I try to post things that actually have to do with the show here, but this once I just had to share. Why make the GI board into some hostile, annoying place, dudes? Arrgg!

Well, you know I don't usually start trouble. I was just pissed off at the world to begin with, then I came here and saw that comment. I just went off for a bit, LOL.

Tryin' to write again, too. Slow going.

Haha. Me too. I wrote a page on Sunday - that was the first time I wrote in FOREVER. It felt good, though. I think I have a vague idea of where my story is going too. Kinda. LOL. We'll see...

Dudes.
Relax.
I'm being silly and irreverent.
If you get worked up over a silly, light hearted post about a silly, light hearted sitcom, you are in dire mental and emotional straights.
Jeeez.

Fine, you're being silly and irreverent. I can deal with that. It's hard to read "inflection" in a post.

I'm sorry I went off like that. Over the past week, I've been called everything but a kitchen sink (LOL) on Yahoo's message boards, and today was especially bad. I had just come from a particularly testy argument with some guy who thought it his business to explain the meaning of patriotism to me (me, the person who reveres Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin so much that I'm attempting to write a book including them). I came here to get away from it, and I saw your post. I admit I went off the deep end. My apologies.

:)

It's not really you, man - various people have been doing/saying unecessary things on various boards for a long time now and I finally just had to rant about it. All I ask is that we get some good discussions going. **shrug**

I thought Ms.Spencer might have been in The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island in 1981. But I didn't remember seeing her in that. Now I see this is all just a joke by someone from another board.

You're half right fic. It's a joke, about unimportant tv program.
I am not an "invader" from another board.

Gilligan's Island is a little more imnporant than the average sitcom. The characters have nearly all become household names.

No sitcom matches the brute might of "What's Happening!!" for sheer fatness of characters.
