<<< THE FACTS OF LAW

Apparently, many L.A. lawbreakers are also Facts of Life fans, as Nancy McKeon discovered when she tagged along with the LAPD to research her role as an inspector on the new Lifetime drama The Division, premiering Jan. 7. "You get those sideways glances, like 'Wait a minute! That's Jo! I know it is!'" says McKeon, 34. "So I would say 'Oh yeah, I get that all the time, but I've been working for the mayor for a while.'" Given the success of the Charlie's Angels movie, whom might McKeon cast in a Facts of Life film? "Nobody," she says. "Don't do it! The world is a kinder, gentler place without that movie being made. There are homes to be built, families to feed!">>>

Although I disagree with her on that http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif , I wonder if she'd say the same about the reunion...

Thanks for posting. Sure sounds as if Nancy has some sort of anti-Jo complex. Maybe all of her Hollywood friends gave her alot of grief about "TFOL". I could understand her attitude if she had created some great artsy Cannes Film Festival Movie or won the Nobel Peace Prize why she would be embarrassed by TFOL but imo "Style and Substance" and her women in peril movies were not an improvement over 'Facts'. After watching her Intimate Portrait it is obvious that she is a really nice lady but I wish she would stop acting like she is too big or cool now to be associated with 'Facts.' She should be proud of the great work she did at such a young age.

After watching her 'IP', it seems maybe she is a little upset over the TFOL experience because she thinks they kept writing her character as a 14 year old even during the last few seasons. This is just a guess on my part because so little of the 'IP' was focused on the TFOL years.

Too, I want to add that even the People article heading had the word 'Facts' in it. Funny how even the criminals know her as Jo.

Thanks....
